Wouldn't be too sure of that. Someone quoted figure's from the book as 'proof' in one of the regular arguments on here and it was quickly shown to be totally wrong. The correct information had been up on the Trust website for years and was freely available to anyone!

Would we be averaging as low as 2K in L2? I'd say 4-5K would be more realistic which would put us mid-table in terms of attendances so would quite possibly be self sustaining. Of course that is only self sustaining as in can keep plodding along, not enough to mount a serious promotion push...

Think they used Stratford for a bit after Cov & Warks. I'd have them playing several county championship games at various places. There's only ever a handful of people at Edgbaston for them but when they used to play elsewhere they'd be packed as people would take a day off work.

And more recently Cov & Warks. They only play at Edgbaston these days. Don't think that was the best decision but with all the money they've had to put in to development to keep tests they need to use it as much as possible.

If you look at the accounts doesn't administrative expenses cover all outgoings other than costs directly related to turnover and wages? Given that millions can legitimately be taken out of the club to repay debt why would there be any need to try and hide money being taken out?

Anderson was in négociations with Wasps, they then decided they would no longer talk to the club. Its hardly a sign of being happy to work together.

But if we drop to the conference, which could happen by the time the Ricoh contract ends, the Butts becomes viable. There would be a few changes needed and possibly one temporary stand but not much. You've got to imagine the cost of playing at the Butts is a fraction of playing at the Ricoh...

The other option is not funding the club and it deteriorates much quicker and has less of a chance of a 'lucky' season.
