What an odd game. First hour was appalling but the substitutions totally changed things for us. Fair play to Venus for taking the hit after the game and admitting it was his fault for changing things when they hadn't had time to work on it properly.

Didn't come across as pissed off to me, more that it hasn't been announced yet so he didn't want to confirm anything.

Credit where it's due Burge had an excellent game tonight. Looked much more confident on crosses and did everything asked of him. Lets hope he can keep up that sort of form. I do worry that one or two mistakes and his confidence will go but hopefully that won't be the case.

Could be a low crowd tonight. Second night back after half term, lot of the kids will have been out last night. Dark and cold as the clocks have gone back and Man City v Barca on the telly. If you're a casual supporter there's not much to persuade you to spend over £20 to head to the Ricoh tonight.

If what was quoted the other day about the amount of money CCFC spent on the Ricoh project is any indication then it would seem not a lot of fact checking took place.

Will be interesting to see the response from the local media and those who would jump all over SISU for badly mismanaging the club if they posted similar accounts showing huge losses, management fees etc.

Equally one underperforming event could cause issues. When we talk about losing our income we shouldn't just assume they can grab another event and it will automatically be successful.

On face value doesn't seem great to me and certainly would lend weight to the argument that our fans should stay away from Wasps games to reduce their income. Of course I'm not an accountant, I might ask mine to take a look and see what he thinks. Given that they are claiming each individual...

No, I meant it didn't have a roof before, it does now. Not sure where you exchange your dollars into pounds but I think you might want to go elsewhere if that is an indication of the exchange rate you get.

So they asked for volunteers, say they were overwhelmed with the response yet Wasps are saving the parade by paying for 10 stewards. Doesn't quite add up as usual. Though with the money the stewards will be on its a cheap PR job for Wasps, just a shame that they see an event like this as a PR...

You can't blame the players taking what's on offer but that sort of money is ridiculous. When you look at the debts of clubs that go into administration or completely fold and then look at some players wages you can't help but think something has gone wrong.

So are Wasps providing, and paying, all the stewards for the parade or is the real story that a handful of people who happen to be stewards have volunteered their services?
