    "The Pertinent Question"

Doris the tea lady told me :angelic: From what I've been told they were looking in the region of £30m which clearly no one they approached even considered. Suspect their expectations will now be lowered but I think its a nonsense to assume any football club is not for sale.

    "The Pertinent Question"

Which to me is why it needs to proceed with caution. If the campaign pushes SISU to walk, unlikely but you never know, then there needs to be someone ready to step in.

    "The Pertinent Question"

It may well end up being sold for £1 but the key will be what happens with the debt. Written off, pennies in the pound offer or carried over to the new owners. Ranson was pretty open about his plan when he came in and people have repeatedly asked for SISU's plan. Problem is you then get Fisher...

    Cian Harries to Liverpool?

Of course. Although there were a couple of subtle differences in that it was during pre-season and he wasn't signed to a professional contract. But yes anything that gives a player reason to think they could soon be departing to play at a higher level is going to be unsettling.

    "The Pertinent Question"

I haven't suggested they state what they want. I have suggested that for them to leave an offer they deem acceptable needs to be made. Exactly. So if you want SISU to sell what do you do? Sitting in after a game or running on the pitch will achieve nothing. You need to target SISU's business...

    Match Thread SISU Out

Well McGinnity suggested buying it back so he must have had a vague idea where it was coming from. Maybe the council could have made one of their loans they give to local businesses who are in trouble  Could have been a golden opportunity for a trust to take a stake. Sure at that...

    "The Pertinent Question"

And that's the problem in a nutshell. If the campaign is for SISU to sell up and go then there needs to be an offer made to them which they deem acceptable. I'm not talking about detail but you can surely give a vague idea of what you are after. If you're saying new owners must be acceptable to...

    Match Thread SISU Out

At the point the council took over it would have been better all round if they told the club to exercise the buy back clause for HR. Seem to recall when MM suggested we wouldn't move and would instead buy back HR the council went into a panic and a certain company got a big contract at the Ricoh...

    "The Pertinent Question"

First off this is a step in the right direction. There needs to be dialogue on what happens if and when SISU go and what the desired end result of any campaign is. That said, in my opinion, this piece raises more questions than it answers. Hopefully this is the start of an ongoing dialogue and...

Guessing he fancies a move into coaching. The question is are we paying him or not? If he's doing it to get a bit of experience and its not costing us then great, haven't heard anything other than him being a positive influence. If its costing us for him to learn a new job thats probably money...

All the major players have said they want to keep doing them its just that everyone is so busy getting a suitable time for filming is an issue. To be honest probably works in their favour. A special or short run every 2 or 3 years and it can keep it fresh.

Scrapped altogether now. WMCA saying there's not enough time to sort the issues out before the franchise on that line is up for renewal.

At a Wasps game wouldn't it be of greater use to target Wasps treatment of CCFC at the Ricoh, their refusal to talk to the club about extending their stay and the impact of their plans for AHC on our academy?

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

Where have I said they should take a hit? In fact can you explain how they are taking a hit? They are still employing the same staff, they have the same product on sale elsewhere in the ground so are still buying that product in and preparing it. The only possible way they could take a hit is if...

The pies and pasty issue - the plot thickens

People that are arguing the retailer is responsible do realise that IEC not CCFC are the retailer here don't they? Do you really think after what we are charged in rent and matchday fees and after selling our fans the most expensive parking and F&B in the FL that IEC are failing to break even...
