To build on South African sand would cost a few rand

    Match fixing scandal

I think it might have been Matt Le Tissier owned up to doing that, although it seemed to be laughed off in a 'what is he like?' kind of way.

    New Stadium Locations

Oh yeah it'd be a ballache, I just mean proximity-wise Ryton's just about close enough. It'd be similar to the Brandon site theorised, anything involving going across that bypass would be horrendous.

    Match fixing scandal

This isn't really match-fixing in the much wider sense like Calciopoli in 2006. This is some dickheads getting yellow cards for a few quid.

    New Stadium Locations

You'd struggle to find people who believe it's a reality, never mind getting excited about the prospect.

Ryton would probably be close enough for me for this mysterious hypothetical stadium of magic dust. I don't remember ever crossing that shitty roundabout and suddenly feeling like I'd stepped into another realm.

    POLL: A 'phoenix' Coventry club

The third option applies for me now. I can't say that'll never change, but I have zero interest in any of the bi-weekly new club proposals.

    Shaun Jeffers

Surely the people within the club saw more of both Jeffers and Wilson than their basic stats can ever indicate. With Wilson being a revelation this season it's hard to really question that, even in the face of Jeffers scoring some goals in a game.

But RFC's a painfully obvious persona and Grendel doesn't go to Sixfields.

    Some Fans

Nobody's more 'real' or 'true' a fan than another, apart from all of us vs the obviously made up personas. IMHO!!!!

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

The odds on him lashing out in the press against an organisation threatening legal action against people lashing out at them in the press?

    Sky Blues Trust Guardian link

Not that it'd ever happen anyway, but it's against all logic for legal action to be taken against people merely highlighting the fact that this editorial exists. I mean if you report on a lie, you're not also a liar by proxy.

Trinity Mirror and CT also told to Shut Up

That's how to avoid legal action, make it illegible!

We should stockpile all our players in case they ever do anything positive somewhere else.

    SISU score an own goal

That Greek fella's got grapes for a beard.

    SISU score an own goal

Did the Trust site copy and paste the article or just have a link? Neither assume ownership anyway, it's a mad threat.

    SISU score an own goal

What legal action can be taken against that Guardian article? It's an opinion piece with little in the way of questionable allegation. I can see why the Trust would take it down due to having less legal muscle than a national news outlet, but if they kept it up it'd just mean Sisu would lose...

2017/18 - Sky Blues start the season at a new ground just outside the city limits

There was someone on here going on about how they evade tax a good while back which seemed mad. I'd hope they were joking, it's hardly the most private soapbox.

    World cup draw

I really like the group. Last time out we had this simple group we'd walk and it was turgid shit, now it's right in with talented teams, two of which have both historical and recent form in the competition. Much more anticipation than squeaking through with an 'easy draw'. It was like in 2010...
