    Yeovil Verses Coventry

I've lived almost my entire life in Weymouth and the local rivalry between Weymouth and Yeovil is still about as strong as any club rivalry can be. Even now with Yeovil in League 1 and Weymouth languishing 4 leagues below you can still hear anti-Weymouth songs being sang at Yeovil matches and...

The media frenzy that would follow any England major triumph, the retail tat that would be on sale EVERYWHERE for literally years to come, and the 100s of thousands of people who have never been to a game suddenly claiming to be massive football fans.................probably the biggest reason...

So you would genuinely get more of a buzz if Rooney, Cole, Gerrard etc were to win the Euros than if a bunch of mainly local kids won promotion for Coventry next season? I am gobsmacked, but like you say, each to their own.

Want England to do well but Coventry's fortunes a somewhere around a million times more important to me.

League One Champions Or European Champions

Any Englishman who chooses England in this poll is not a proper Coventry supporter. I'd happily see England go out on Tuesday if it means City go up next year. And so should you.

    i need some hope.

Lower-mid table is my prediction. I think the youngsters (should they stay) are too good to go down, providing we sign some (any) players to replace those that have left, but no way we'll be challenging at the top.
