UK too here, with Monday wisely booked off. I've been to Seattle but not a game, just the Wembley one a few months back. KEARSE!

Yeah the big return. He threatened the same in the single regular season game he played before getting injured again, he's so explosive.

We missed Percy Harvin nearly all season (although didn't do too bad without him) but the thought of him being fit a full season is really something to look forward to.

Yeah, it's a packed schedule. I think they may even sometimes play twice in the same day in MLB, or at least used to.

That's baseball, so yes - The Toronto Blue Jays.

    Superbowl

Yeah, I think the MLS is close to identical setup. It's fairly standard for US sports, basketball follows the same formula with the difference being they play a ridiculous amount of regular season games (80+) and then the playoffs are on a best-of-7 rather than one-match knockout. You don't...

    Superbowl

The superbowl is basically the ultimate prize, everything's aimed towards it. The round before is the NFC and AFC championship so whoever loses today are still champions of their conference, but they're really the equivalent of a cup semi-final.

    Superbowl

Each team plays 16 regular games, with the best sides advancing to the playoffs which is then straight knockout.

I'm just waiting for it all to go wrong, as years of Cov disappointment had conditioned me!

Yeah, a lot use the word football still. I think harlequins go by 'fc' itself.

Even dug out the old Hasselbeck jersey: It's like a tent, I'd hate to see an XXL gentleman if that's what they think an M can ever be.

Ready to go! I'm so glad that I booked tomorrow off work months ago, unlike the day after the NFC Championship.

Still remember this one like it was yesterday, can't remember a more breathless finish.

Kam Chancellor's a monster, he was player of the game against the 49ers. L.O.B! EDIT: can't talk of monsters and leave out a beast. The play that literally made the earth move: http://youtu.be/xSZdntRnQVg

There was a catalogue of poor decisions and blown calls, but the worst was when Big Ben was tackled short of the goalline and then moved the ball over the line and was awarded the TD.

With their girly concussions! It's like sewing or something lol! I've waited a good few years for the Seahawks to get back to the big dance, so fully expect Manning to boss it. So long as there isn't the horrific officiating of 2006.

Wii U any good for kids?

I had a Wii and it seems a similar story with U that while there's not a huge selection of games, there are some absolute belters. Why are handhelds a no-go out of interest? The 3DS started slow but just gets better.
