    Steps removed. SISU and CCFC.

The same article you reference has Eastwood finally confirming they were invited to talks, which he had previously denied, and stating that they had rejected that request. If they are open to negotiation and happy to talk why when asked to attend talks do they say no?!

I think you're a bit confused. The whole reason we ended up with SISU in the first place is they were the only bidders who didn't want ownership of the stadium, that wasn't part of their plan.

Wasps ended talks, CCFC invited them to talks with someone independent observing, Wasps refused. Yet we're supposed to believe Wasps are ready to talk and any problems are down to SISU. Nobody gives a toss if SISU have been hard done by or not. Its just that some people do actually care what...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

OK, so if we can't enforce the regulations now how are we going to enforce whatever new regulations come in? That's what makes no sense. We vote to leave to 'take back control of our borders' when we already have the right to control them but not he ability and / or manpower. Hamza is Egyptian...

Was reported in the CT as £2.8m which Higgs didn't deny when saying they were rejecting it.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

So lets just for a second imagine that post Brexit EU immigration is suddenly zero. Where do we get the labour we need from? Don't say we'll let in people from the EU to work because that's what the directive is now and you've said we need to leave to take control. And besides that how are...

Not really millions is it? but of course its all the bloody immigrants fault, nothing to do with the decline in number of homes being built.

Because they aren't lived in. There is a record number of empty homes and its increasing.

The EU Citizens' Rights Directive 2004/38/EC. Clause 9 states EU citizens have an unrestricted right to visit for 3 months only. Further clauses show some of the restrictions on stays over 3 months, for example clause 10 states the EU citizen must not be a burden on the host countries social...

But ACL was doing just fine without CCFC. I distinctly recall the likes of Ann Lucas and PWKH telling us that at every available opportunely.

I believe they offered more than Wasps for the Higgs 50%. They were never given the opportunity to bid on the council's 50% on similar terms to Wasps.

No at all concerned that is was being reported as a close vote until the councillors met with Wasps in secret, a meeting at which no minutes or any record whatsoever were kept, and came out of said meeting voting unanimously to sell ACL at a loss.

On what are you basing your assertion that most people are happy that Wasps purchased ACL at a loss to the taxpayer?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

That doesn't make sense? The present rules do prevent it but he UK government doesn't, or can't, enforce the rules. That being the case it doesn't matter what the rules are changed to. EU Directive 2004/38/EC (which only the UK and Ireland opted out of) states EU citizens can only stay for 3...

    Actual Nazis in America

Captain Dart seems to have missed another one. Obviously some mix up as we keep getting told there's no danger from the white supremacists / nazi's / alt-right.

He says the position hasn't changed. Their position was that they were in talks with CCFC, talks that both sides described as positive. They then pulled out of talks citing the legal action SISU were taking.

Assistance doesn't necessarily mean monetary. Anyone who seriously thinks the legal action is in anyway impacting on the day to day operation of a local council with £95m reserves is crazy. The only possible way the council will have to make a substantial payout is if they are found to be in...

Go ahead and ask SISU all you like, it will do you zero good. We could have 0 people at a match and 10,000 marching to their offices and it would make no difference. But make sure you are asking SISU and not CCFC. Personally I take issue with what is essentially blackmail to try and prevent...

How is it going to cost the tax payer money? Presumably you are also up in arms at the Ricoh being sold at a loss by the council to Wasps and for them allowing the loan to be paid back early, a loan they had previously claimed was a great deal for the taxpayer due to the amount of interest it...

I've no doubt they do but they key is what deal they want. For all we know they're saying £1m a year for 50 years with no break clause. Would be an absolute non starter. Any deal has to have regular break clauses, say every 5 years, rent no higher than we pay now and fair access to revenues...
