Robins gives his thoughts on some of the fringe players...

If you watch Barton on a football pitch for 10 minutes. You should be able to see that he has more ability than pretty much anyone else on the pitch. He has that rare quality of making time ans space for himself. Howeve I think he will only thrive in a team like Swansea etc...

Robins gives his thoughts on some of the fringe players...

I hope not I think hussey has so much potential and would hope a manager would want to see that as s challenge to develop.

"you'll never play for this club again"

I agree with you. Problem is we are where we are, mainly down to to off field stuff. Not due to the squad we have. During that RS period and MR's first game we lost 5 on the bounce in the league. Take that out our record is won 3 drew 4 lost 2 I think... Which doesnt really support...

Where is the strength in depth?

Depth in squad. Murphy injured Dunn in. Which league one team has two top keepers. We are the same as anyone else. Except at least we have one top keeper one potential one. Clarke out Christie in or Bailey can play right back. As can Willis. Left back Recford, Hussey Kilbane. Cb...

Where is the strength in depth?

well said we were in a higher division last season dependant on the likes of Christie Thomas and Bigi. I know people will say look where Bigi is now. However he is still a bit part at Newcastle learning his trade. Last season he was even less experienced

Robins gives his thoughts on some of the fringe players...

shows that Barton does have that ability though. Question are, was he the wrong player to sign for the division. Or was he the right player for the manager that signed him and the plans he had. Or should Barton be good enough to adapt his game

Where is the strength in depth?

Also I take it luck was not involved in the defeats under robins. And off field matters were noting to do with the 4 defeats in s row after at was sacked.

Waggott: McGoldrick out of our hands

1, yes and..... 2, Not necessarily the forest manager said DMC is scoring at this level because it is league one. 3, & 4 Yep still maybe able to afford his wages otherwise how could we afford anyones this season. 5 Or he is happy here, we can agree wages for him. Forest are glad to get...

Waggott: McGoldrick out of our hands

And if we can afford his wages and he is prepared to dig his heels in, it may not even require a fee.

Waggott: McGoldrick out of our hands

Shut it Jennings! Goldie is crap and all his goals have been lucky. He is more suitable to league one football.

Waggott: McGoldrick out of our hands

yep can see the comparison. Goldie in last 6 months of his contract. Not wanted by his parent club and scoring goals in league one. - Ronaldo. Maybe if Goldie tells forest he only wants to sign for Cov. That of course depends on him getting the right wages here. Cov offer a token 100k...

    Are the players "too good"?

Not sure that is always the case. Plenty of players don't adapt well to the cut and thrust of English football, thrive in other slower paced leagues.
