Security a bit over the top?

4 people in the queue in front of me all had problems with print at home tickets with barcodes not being recognised. Either people are trying to get in without valid tickets or the system doesn't work properly.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Sky paid £167.5m for the PL rights the prior to our relegation. They pay £1.4bn now and then there's the money from BT to add on to that.

Conor Chaplin - Signing Confirmed (Finally!)

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I don't think when the Ricoh was dreamt up, or even when we moved there, anyone thought you'd be getting nearly £100m in TV money for finishing last in the PL.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

First question that should be asked of Farage is for his detailed alternative plan. If he doesn't have one he should be ignored.

It’s more WWE than WWE is. Embarrassing.

    Boxing tonight

Commentators trying to make out security will try and stop Wilder getting in the ring when he’s on camera clearly being told what to do and when to get in the ring!

    Boxing tonight

What makes it even more laughable is the refusal of the commentators to admit its a farce.

    Boxing tonight

Is this supposed to be a serious fight? More like two out of shape old fellas giving it a go at a local boxing night.

Security a bit over the top?

Assume it will be the same for Wasps games, after all it claimed to be a safety issue and we wouldn't want people attending the rugby not to be safe.

    Luke Thomas

Looks a talent going forward, seems very keen to be constantly involved as well rather than fearing the ball. Not sure about when he's required to track back though, that push made me a bit nervous.

Security a bit over the top?

When I was a kid used to wander up to HR from town just in time for it opening. Used to love watching all the setup and warm ups. Now I've got getting there just as the game starts down to a fine art.

Security a bit over the top?

Yes, and given who we are paying for it you'll understand why its happening even when its not needed.

Match Thread Coventry City vs Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Saturday 18th Aug

That makes more sense if he plays the #10 place. We can't really play 3 attacking mids out of 4 as that leaves Kelly / Doyle / Ogogo on their own which certainly doesn't work if its Kelly or Doyle and I doubt would work with Ogogo. Of course if that is the role for Andreu it makes you wonder...

    W***s bought Brentford FC.

I thought he couldn't post on forums until the season started as he wouldn't know anything about the new players? Almost like thats some BS he came up with to excuse the fact he only ever posted about Wasps on here.

Muslim women don't have to shake hands in Sweden

And you immediately go and prove my point! Absolutely agree with that decision and their reasoning which reading the article rather than the headline isn't actually handshake refusal. Its actually 'over their lack of respect for gender equality' as 'The constitution and equality between men and...

Muslim women don't have to shake hands in Sweden

No I said traditionally never which is correct. I'm sure there's plenty of men who do the same thing but I'm equally sure there are people on this forum who would be far from happy if a fella planted a kiss on them as a form of greeting. Its just common courtesy to respect peoples boundaries...

    Warwickshire CCC 2019 Thread

How long was the deal with Birmingham Council for them to be named Birmingham? The sooner its changed back the better as far as I'm concerned. The new competition is supposed to be city based, Will they want there to be 2 Birmingham teams or will that prompt a change?
