Match Thread Coventry City - Charlton Athletic Match Thread - Saturday 29th Nov

EMC is turning into the player we hoped we'd bought when we signed him . He's improving all the time. Not blessed with pace but technically brilliant and a nice bloke.

I see a horrible draw tomorrow. Charlton need to bounce and we'll be over confident. Hope I'm wrong but 1-1 looks like a frustrating scoreline.

Well they did invent football so you'd think they'd know. Truth be told they probably don't even know he was a substitute on Saturday

Much improved player JDS, since Viveash days but I think he'll still try and exploit our left ...he knows our weaknesses better than most

Match Thread Coventry City v WBA Sat 22nd November 25 12.30 KO

West Brom came with two up front and had a go, which took us a bit by suprise and fair play to them. However, it failed . It just shows the confidence and resilience in our squad.

Match Thread Coventry City v WBA Sat 22nd November 25 12.30 KO

I don't think there's that much of a problem down either flank, just very different styles. We're set up to score goals, so sometimes a bit vulnerable at the back. Kitching had an off day...it happens

Along with Danny Ings, Wilder is building a good squad for 2019, I can see him going back for Billy Sharp .

    Robin’s Take On The Game

I don't think anything Robins said was particularly damming towards us. He'd just been beaten by a late goal so a bit of sour grapes doesn't go a miss by a losing manager. I wouldn't expect him to be gushing about our brilliance. We do like to get the ball forward quickly, we do like a long...

Match Thread Stoke City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 8th Nov

I think some of the criticism for EMC is a bit harsh. They were shit scared of him the other night and it changed the game. We know his limitations but luckily the opposition find him a handful.

They pressed hard on Grimes last night and I think that will be the pattern moving forward but he's such a good player he adapted to it.
