Match Thread Cheltenham Town vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 13th Nov

Would serve them right if they ended up with something like Man City v Newcastle in the final at Wembley in front a few hundred supporters.

    Sturridge charged with betting misconduct

What an idiot. Surely he doesn't need the money when he's on £120K a week. This isn't something trivial where you could give him the benefit of the doubt. He'd have to know what he was doing was wrong.

    Injury updates...

You'd have to assume it was something fairly urgent tho. Hopefully nothing serious.

    Appeal Dismissed

How would you regulate that? You get Arsenal fans going nuts if they aren't in the top 6, do they get to kick out their owners? Don't see how it could ever work in practice.

    Appeal Dismissed

If you think there is anyone running CCFC on a day to day basis who can snap their fingers and get the legal action stopped you're kidding yourself and sleepwalking towards, at best, another move out of the city. Doesn't matter who has their name on a form somewhere its all being run by Sepalla...

    Appeal Dismissed

Because at the moment my primary concern is where we are going to play next season and the route to resolve that issue is through Wasps, unless people believe there is a viable option other than the Ricoh. As a fan base there is a limited resource, be it the amount of time people will put into...

    Wasps downward spiral...

What are you on about, clearly another sell out.

    Appeal Dismissed

Which is exactly why Grendel is correct to say the pressure needs to be applied to Wasps. You can see the PR already cranking up and clearly it works as we've got people posting in this thread already defending Wasps.

Match Thread Walsall vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 10th Nov

Ref threatening to take the players off. Surely there's not enough trouble to warrant that?

Poll: How long will Trump be President?

The bloke is a complete moron, He is in France at the moment, for Armistice day, and has just cancelled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American cemetery and memorial as it's raining.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Don't know what everyone is worried about. Now that he's realised we're an island and dependent on the Dover - Calais route it will be full steam ahead from here.

    US Midterm Elections

Trump is now banning reporters he doesn’t like from the White House like some sort of crazy dictator.

From the same meeting Seems that after practically gifting them a stadium the council can't talk to Wasps unless its at a Rolling Stones gig.

    US Midterm Elections

I'm pretty certain there's an actual mental health condition he hasn't had diagnosed. No 'normal' person acts like him, even when you compare him to some of the craziest Americans. The US political system is even more of a mess than ours. How can you have a system where Trump can sack Sessions...

    Grenfell Bonfire

And if they knew of the issue years in advance but kept the planes flying despite a clear risk of passengers dying you wouldn't have a problem with that? Personally I would expect any plane known to have an issue putting it at risk of crashing to be taken out of service immediately.

    Grenfell Bonfire

Actually it was flagged up numerous times by residents associations prior to the fire as well as failed inspections. The fridge was an accident. The way it spread should not have occurred and had corners not been cut to save money wouldn't have occurred.
