Some things deserve their own thread

Hi, It has taken a lot for me to write a post on here as I don't normally do anything public like this and so please bear with me as I finally do so. As my username implies my grandfather was Alan Higgs, who as some of you will know was a self made Coventry businessman who during his lifetime...

    Legal Argument

So ACL are saying SISU are not kicked out. FA have confirmed nothing regarding moving grounds as of yet. SISUnits seems as expected have created a delay to try and ensure points deduction happens next season ACL wanted it this season so the administrator can negotiate a sale of the...

    different view

You are right Godiva SISU will do 100% what is necessary for them. ACL owned by Coventry City Council and Charity whose sole purpose is to improve Coventry will make decisions partly with the aim of ensuring Coventry have a football club. That alone should really be enough for Coventry City...

Thanks for robbing me SISU and Council

I will only support my hometown club. Hometown is a keyword

    Legal Argument

Have SISU just created a legal argument to defer the case tomorrow. One that is going to be cloudy enough that no points deduction will be granted until next season. They get to see the season out and see what happens to us. Be it here at the Ricoh or elsewhere. Till the end of the season...

    The Football League

I can't believe they have and also that they would allow CCFC to realise a statement about it before they did. It is the creation of the legal argument for to get the deferral tomorrow

Bit of a weird thing to be focusing on in the circumstances. Be surprised if you get much more of a reaction than this. But I have been surprised by a lot more on this forum

    All Ricoh/ alternative ground comments.

Yes very cunning in a Baldrick kind of way. Lets see if the FA really have authorised SISU to walk away from a legal debt and move grounds.

No more games at the Ricoh

Surely not we were offered to less than you. The Ricoh is one of the most modern stadiums in Britain!

    All Ricoh/ alternative ground comments.

Baldrick 'don't worry I have a cunning plan, when this happened to Southampton they moved the debt to another company to avoid the points deduction. Then we can write off the debt and play at a ground 30 miles away that is too small' BlackAdder 'did it work?' Baldrick 'No'

    Are SISU blind or stupid?

I think it would be highly unlikely that someone else would be as bad at business as SISU. They surely would renegotiate with ACL first for a mutually acceptable deal. This will be an ACL who are desperate for people they can actually work with. I think it would be the perfect chance for new...

    Are SISU blind or stupid?

It definitely doesn't benefit SISU The club, that is the million dollar question.

    a good read

Some else may have popped it up and tried to make it a success at the same time.

    Acl are bullies

Unfortunately SISU will delay like buggers and will try and get any investors on board with them.

    a good read

Enough for 18 years if you run the club like a circus. Enough for a lot longer if you work sensibly with your key partner agencies I would guess.

    Questions for Peter Knatchbull Hugesson

So you didn't just say that relegation from the championship last season was statistically inevitable?

League 1 as a horse race

Shooting him just after we started certainly didn't or changing jockey 5 times :)
