We can't even get 'em to sign an online petition, so not much chance you'll get a tenner out of them.

Christie set to sign for Derby

I'm confused. Who to believe, SP or an anonymous bloke on a football forum, Rupert_Bear? :thinking about: "We obviously made it clear that we wanted him to stay but at the same time we respect his decision to seek out a fresh challenge and for that we wish him the very best of luck.".

I don't think anyone is doing that. In fact, I think people have said "good luck" to him

HIm: He gets his move. Good luck and all that. Us: He wasn't very good last season and he doesn't want to be here. We'll also get compensation. Everybody wins. And I would question your statement about "quality". While he's not bad I think his agent has filled his head with "you're a...

    Council lot

The education authorities really fuck me off. It's OK for them to strike at the drop of a hat, or tag a "teacher training day" at the end of a holiday or at random times during the school year. Ooh, I could crush a grape. Admittedly, I am one of the "council lot", but I ain't striking today...

Best Live Act You've Seen ?

Thin Lizzy, '79. Went with my brother. Wasn't really into them or anything at the time but it was great. Original Human League, '79. I was 13. Weird concert as they were just four blokes who stood there, but it was exciting as my Mum didn't know I'd gone! Buzzcocks, Brum Odeon, 1980. Their...

Pressley Wants Hat Trick Of Strikers.

I went all the way to Glasgow with my Dad around '78 (can't remember exactly) to see Blyth play for Scotland. The ball went through his legs for one goal - he wasn't the best keeper himself, though he was far from the worst. I remember a few penalty saves. In fact, he was brilliant and the...

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

I took my son to ten away games last season and all home games from end of November. There's no doubt the atmosphere at Sixfields is poor; not surprising as there's hardly anyone there, but it certainly hasn't dampened his enthusiasm for Coventry City. Every person is different though, aren't...

    I'm Seriously Annoyed

Christ, even I'm confused. CC4L said taking him to Sixfields would make it easier for him to support someone else. I'm saying that's nonsense. Nothing to do with being a better fan. However, I'm pleased he doesn't support Barcelona or Red Star Belgrade as he wouldn't go and see them very often.

Eh? Utter nonsense. Continuing to see his team separates him from other kids in his class who support Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and even Barcelona FFS.

I don't remember that. I just remember trying to find one of the "frogs" and queueing.

    A question that confuses me

I thought it was a good idea apart from the fact you had to bring cash along so you could get it loaded onto your card. So you had to queue twice. To get the money loaded on and then for your food. If there had been an online top-up system then I think it would have been great.

Balanced? "Sweetheart, if there are people you disagree with just hope they are involved in a car crash. Problem solved".
