Although I'm probably a bit sad I go through the manifesto and look at all the policies and give each one a score out of 5. I then put them into categories like economy/jobs, education, healthcare, governance, sport/culture etc and these also get weighted out of 5 so things like economy...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Indeed the use of words like force etc does make it sound like a scare story. For me the point is do you trust or expect our government to stand up to the demands of the US, of which this is very likely to be one? On the whole I don't. On major stuff like this they'll nod their heads and...

Or the govt/parliament that ignored the requests for funding because it was too busy thinking about reducing spending everywhere than looking at why that spending is needed. They are always reactionary, not proactive. They only act WHEN the tragedy has occurred rather than heed the warnings...

Sealey was a decent keeper, just a bit of a bell-end.

It is a point that there is a higher likelihood of those involved in science and education to be left leaning. These are places that encourage people to question and test perceived 'truth'. Of course it isn't perfect and some results are kept quiet because they don't provide the desired answer...

No, it should be a mix. But in troubled times it usually falls upon the public sector to make up the shortfall because the private sector retreats due to fear, heightening the problem. It is a time to invest in infrastructure projects to provide jobs and money into the economy, providing...

Understand the thought process but there could be some unfavourable things sneaking through under the Brexit radar and I couldn't allow myself to play even the tiniest part by failing to vote. None of the parties deserve to be voted for.

But a lot of people will let it. Loads of people don't bother reading the manifesto. If it's not mentioned in the media or whatever it's not worth consideration.

    Shamima Begum Not Allowed Back.

But how much do you think that'll change in the two years following? What I can't get is that 16 is considered fine to be mature enough regarding sex, relationships and to have and care for children, but not mature enough to think of who they might want to vote for.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Or it is on the table but not willing to admit it. Trump said it was and the look he got from May was 'shut the fuck up'. He then backtracked. My take on it was Trump once again couldn't help shoot his mouth off when he shouldn't. It may be packaged as non-privatisation to make it more...

As was my fear and why I didn't favour it. I really fear we could end up with some very shit policies in other areas due to this.

I very much doubt it. If they could choose different voting ages etc why not a completely different electoral system like PV or AV? Needs to be standardised. But having said that the US elections have different ways of giving out their electoral college votes for different states.

But it depends on how they define 'market driven'. They can argue 'market driven' for tendering a contract. If you win the contract then you've got it made - you have the market to yourself by law and how many of those contracts don't end up costing more than the tender price? Market driven is...

One thing that confused me is having the election on a Monday. I thought they were always done on Thursdays? Still yet to work out why three days makes any fucking difference. Winter election more likely to favour Tories IMO. Elderly may not want to get out and vote but will postal vote...
