    Countdown to fisher's "good news"

There was a reason for that. An agreement had been made with Wasps which was due to be signed and announced before Xmas. Wasps then backed out and took the deal off the table. Was reported on CWR.

Capacity isn't really an issue as long as there's room for temporary stands. You can build pretty much an entire temporary stadium if you've got the room. AMI Stadium in New Zealand is 100% temporary and was built from nothing in 80 days. Holds 18K upgradable to 26K for bigger games.

Depends who the owners are. What if it was a consortium of local businessmen and someone who just happened to own a ground.

That's absolutely correct. There is an assumption that losing our place in the league would mean SISU throw in the towel. Just as much chance we end up in the national league groundsharing in Nuneaton with Fisher still here.

    Tuesday 5th March

The EFL have said they are in constant contact with the club. I'd be surprised if the club didn't know about that letter well in advance. Tomorrow deadline is nothing really. Just means the vote will be scheduled so in reality we have until the day of the vote to sort something. Even then it...

Paying for Godiva Festival / Council Overspend

This isn't the first time that kind of thing has been reported is it? Sure they've been had up for it before.

    Michael Jackson

What I don't get is that the R Kelly thing has been known about for years. Why are people acting all surprised now? I couldn't name you a single one of his songs but I knew he was known to be up to this shit. I don't care who you are or how much money you have, if you're getting accused of...

The only way that would work is if the EFL was prepared to take on ownership of clubs. That won't happen while clubs are losing millions a year. Who would be expected to cover those losses or would the EFL run them at break even? We've seen the issues clubs like Pompey and ourselves have had...

Can’t see it being Nuneaton or the Butts. Walsall probably the best option in terms of size, Birmingham for easy travel. Doesn’t really need to be a football ground. Leicester Tigers is not that far away.

    Wasps action

Sure there will be a statement from the trust shortly condemning Wasps for this. They can combine it with the one condemning the council over their response to the FOI requests as that seems to have been delayed.

Not sure why some of our fans are so keen on us being kicked out of the league. Seems like there’s a bit of a panic today. People expecting the accounts not to filed and the club not to be looking at alternative grounds?

EFL puts it to a vote, clubs vote to keep us in which forces the EFL to relax any rule citing exceptional circumstances.

Would you prefer them to not be looking in to alternatives to the Ricoh? That would mean if Wasps maintain their stance we’ve out of the league. As for who would go, dependent on where it was, I would. This is very different to last time.

That's part of the problem. F&P can't ever solve that, you're asking them to predict the future.

    Petition

Signed, no reason not to. I think for something to really gain traction and pressure be put on the authorities to implement it someone has to detail an alternative, how should it actually work. Realistically that involves a huge change in football from the PL down for every team to be...
