The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Its madness that we are told it would be the end of democracy to have a 'peoples vote' but May can keep talking the same deal back to parliament again and again until she gets it her way. See the austerity stick has now come out. Vote my way or we'll start cutting everything again.

So your preference is the club has nowhere to play and at best moves out of the city or at worst ceases to exist rather than pushing for the council and Wasps to now talk to the club. Brilliant plan.

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

We need talks to start, if that doesn't happen we have nowhere to play next season. For talks to start something has to give and most likely on both sides as nobody will want to be seen to back down. SISU have given some ground by saying there is a route to dropping the legals. Now let's see CCC...

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

I find it incredibly bizarre that given the situation we're in, only weeks away from homelessness, that our own fans are arguing that the parties involved should continue to refuse to talk to the club.

Do you not think getting everyone together and talking with the intention of reaching a deal is a good thing? Why would anyone be against the current stand off being broken?

Who cares if it means they get dropped. Lets just have the council agree, draw a line under everything and move on.

Surely people aren't really that stupid to not understand what is being asked. Of course if its as easy as you say then absolutely no reason for the council not to agree.

So you're saying he makes things up to tell the press?

That's not really news. Seppala admitted that in her interview with Reid years back.

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

Nobody has to fall for anything. What do we lose by pushing the council to go with this? If it's bollocks it will quickly unravel and SISU will look even more ridiculous than they usually do. In the unlikely event it isn't bollocks we might finally move things forward. Its a no lose situation.

No different? Nick is on here under his own name giving his own opinion. The people he is referring to claim to be representatives of the fans and have multiple anonymous accounts to attack anyone who dares disagree with them. Not quite the same thing in my book.

There's two in the thread already. There was another, think it was up by the MTC, Kieran (chap that used to do social media for the club) mentioned after he had left. Had a big argument with Gilbert over it if I recall correctly as Gilbert wasn't interested in the story. We also know that there...

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

I have no problem with a potential new home for the club being built at the lowest possible cost. Obviously not the actually building itself in the unlikely event it ever happened, don't want the roof falling in during a game! They don't need us remember. Stadium is doing just fine and are...

"We know that the Sky Blue Trust has met with CCC/Wasps behind closed doors"

Not trying to change the terms already are you? In your original post you said people were posting that Seppala is a saint.

Mentioned before all these people who are dead against appeals and the legal action continuing would suddenly change their mind if by some miracle it went SISUs way at some point.

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

For me it doesn't matter if we believe it or not. We've wanted the legals dropped, here is the olive branch. If it turns out to be a load of BS what do we lose, we're hardly going to be worse off. Choosing to not believe it and therefore letting the council off means SISU can just sit back and...

Are you really going to play that dumb on this? Just look at the Wasps planning application and the assistance the council gave to them prior to it being submitted.

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

Yes you are being too cynical. Lets see the council step up for a change. Are they prepared to go in to talks to establish what is meant by help and reasonable terms or will they just dismiss it out of hand because its SISU irrespective of the potential damage to the football club. It is naïve...

SISU Statement - Article From Sky Sports

Exactly, the council says 'we don't believe you' just means SISU can bat away any future criticism by saying they tried and the council point blank refused to assist the club. The council simply has to back this, if it turns out to be rubbish then it only makes the council look good and SISU...

I have a feeling that land was given some sort of redevelopment grant that rules it out. Might be mixing that up with somewhere else though.
