Maybe, but as I said in a thread yesterday before the Wasps thing getting land was probably going to be a big issue due to objections from CCC. If CCC have now basically parachuted in a franchise team then it wouldn't reflect well on them if they turned down an application within the city...
Fair enough people have a go at me for going to Sixfields, I understand why they do, but a permanent move was never on the cards and look what vitriol that created. A permanent move is pretty disgusting really.
I wasn't making excuses for SISU. I just continued watching my team and I'm not going to apologise for it. In fact, on many occasions I said that SISU were to blame, but I also blamed ACL and I still do.
That's a good point. While the SISU Fuck Ups are fairly obvious the previous board also had a chance to do something over purchasing the share back, didn't they? Saying that they were complaining about the rent only a few months after moving in.
But I would imagine this has taken a good few months to organise so probably not that easy. Also, you have to consider the consequences of what Wasps, ACL and CCC are actually doing. Maybe it is as easy as you say, but really, it shouldn't be.
True...there can't really be a balance. If it's open then it's all abuse and if it's moderated then Nick and the Club get the flack for being secretive.
But it might NOT be outside the City. Before the Wasps stuff then there was a good chance it would be as I would imagine CCC would want to throw a spanner in the works, but..and this is obviously all guesswork...now that ACL/CCC have really instigated another franchise moving into the Ricoh then...
I agree, yeah, mainly just the footballing side of things. Even if W and F thinks it's a bit beneath them then Tynan Scope could have an account and all stuff could be moderated first as you said.
I just used the switchurteam.com website as I was a bit fed up with all the shenanigans here and my new team is top of the Premier League. Got 2500 clubcard points too. Sweet.
