    Some Boddy Is Furious

Exactly, but all that has to happen is someone says 'but SISU' and all pressure is off the council again and they are left to do whatever they want no matter how much is screws over the club.

Why will they not sell up

Not a great deal but I suspect you're not asking what is the cost of buying Otium but rather what is the cost of buying the assets while leaving behind the debt and that is the problem. If you buy the assets the debt doesn't disappear, that remains in the old company. Any deal will have to...

Why will they not sell up

If you were interested in buying a football club and you weren't a CCFC fan what would make you want buying us a better option than every other club in the country?

Why will they not sell up

The same one that got us into this mess with Ranson? Do you seriously believe if Hoffman made a genuine offer for an amount SISU deem acceptable they would say no just because it was him? Every time he offers something it turns out to be not quite what it seems. If he offered £20m up front...

    Could they be still talking

They could be talking who knows. I'm struggling to see the benefits to Wasps in their course of action. There is no legal action ongoing and CCFC or SISU can't stop the EC investigation. That doesn't change if we're at the Ricoh or not. If anything kicking us out is more likely to mean further...

"How do I tell my son/daughter they can't go to the match

It will do as much or as little damage as we allow. If as many people as possible go to Birmingham the damage will be minimal. If a boycott gains traction there will be a large amount of damage.

Why will they not sell up

Unless you are a fan we are literally the last club in the country anyone would buy.

    Some Boddy Is Furious

It's beyond a joke. There's no way he isn't aware what he is doing, every time he posts his one sided rubbish he is met with replies point out his factual errors and failure to look at all sides. Yet he keeps pumping out the same line.

    Ricoh

While I appreciate they aren't all comparing exactly the same thing you can't help but have doubts when you look at some of the figures: Build cost £115.8m June 2006 Initial 50 year lease £21m October 2014 Sale price to Wasps £5.5m October 2014 200 year lease extension £1m April 2015 valuation...

    Ricoh

The case will be dealt with in line with what was in place at the time. That will be a condition of any deal. In theory if we leave with no deal the UK could just choose to ignore any action but in practice at some point we will need to agree a trade deal so even a no deal Brexit won't stop...

    Ricoh

The council were speaking with Wasps and trying to move them to the Ricoh before there was even a dispute with SISU let alone the club moving out.

Why will they not sell up

Because nobody has made them an offer they deem acceptable.

    Boycott serves no purpose.

I don't see this being short term but realistically what do you expect to happen if a 5 year limit is put in place? If Wasps continue to say we can't play at the Ricoh are you suggesting the club is given 5 years and then wound up?
  14. chiefdave

    Boycott serves no purpose.

I'd be interested to know how. If boycotting will get the club back in Coventry I'll happily boycott.

    Boycott serves no purpose.

And that causes them to fail the fit and proper persons test how exactly? I'm talking about the actual test used by the EFL not whatever version you have made up for yourself. Out of interest what do you think would happen if the EFL forcibly removed SISU? Happy to take the risk that the club...

    St Andrews confirmed!

Portsmouth Council did a study before their loaned the money to buy the ground and that was millions a year even with them being in L2 at the time. Is there any other council in the country that would assist in doing so much damage to the local economy?

    A mass protest in Broadgate

Are they even real bricks or just fake fronts stuck to the wall?

    St Andrews confirmed!

Maybe if they can see patterns they can look back to the days when I was accused of being a council employee and doing their PR. Negative about protests? I've encouraged and supported many ideas put forward on here for protests so not sure how you've come to that conclusion.

Call to Arms first game of the season.

Hopefully the club will arrange coaches from various parts of the city. Think that was a major omission last time round. If they don't maybe fans groups and the like will arrange their own.
