We know that's the case. Take the meeting where they voted to sell to Wasps, no minutes, notes or record of any sort apparently exists. That sets huge alarm bells ringing for me.
Even if it wasn't regarding a situation that was deep in legal challenges I'd have thought you'd want every aspect...
One of the good things about Overson coming out and saying this is he has a level of credibility pretty much everyone else involved in this saga lacks. Be pretty hard for Wasps or the council, or even the likes of the Wasps forum members, to just dismiss what he has said.
I'd take it at face value. The CT spoke to him about the donation so he took the chance to point out he was no longer in the consortium as he'd seen people on line (presumably this forum) saying he was.
As crap at journalism as the telegraph are if someone tells you they've left the consortium...
Need to shift some tickets. They've sold 20,000 compared to an attendance of 115,000 last year.
Unless of course the idea is to kill it off claiming there is no longer a demand, not as if they haven't looked into stopping it in the past.
Sad that it takes Overson coming out and directly saying it before the Telegraph wake up to what is going on.
Certainly explains why Hoffman said the other day he’s not bidding again.
Maybe finally the Telegraph and CWR will wake up and actually do their jobs.
a) that looks shit, be very disappointed if that's what we end up with;
b) if you are in a position to see the kit before everyone else you'd have to be a bit of dick to leak it on social media knowing the club will want to do a reveal as they do every year.
Imagine if you were a young journalist in Cov straight out of college on a piss poor wage. You've got a story on your doorstep that could be national news and make your career. I'd be all over it.
Instead the Telegraph and CWR seem to be staffed with people afraid to upset Wasps by asking any...
This is what drives me insane with the Telegraph and also Gilbert. Ask follow up questions!!! When he says they want CCFC at the Ricoh push him on how that can happen.
At the moment it seems the only reason that is not happening is because he has put impossible demands in place. Instead of...
I would absolutely deal with the football club in that scenario. Both sides have stated that the day to day relationship between CCFC and ACL is good. I would prefer to keep getting the revenue CCFC generate and avoid the potential for negative publicity that could come with kicking out CCFC...
Context is king. I believe what you might be referring to is a conversation Fisher had where he said SISUs investors, if they ever existed, had concerns about interference from CCC. This followed the collapse of the project at Brandon and, according Kieran Crowley, a stadium site just over the...
