Am I the only one that thought that was a good performance??

Just reading some comments on the match thread and people saying how poor we were. We started both halfs slowly but I thought despite all Prestons possession, we defended pretty well. The two goals we conceded were very, very unfortunate in the end we showed tremendous character...something...

    Tickets sold for tonight

If I lived locally, I'd go for a fiver...good times. Unfortunately I don't, so I'll watch on the the telly-box.

Bit of fun - Coventry City Players of the past

David Smith - Not always liked but I thought he was a good old fashioned winger in the late 80's/early 90's. WM

Half time. It sounded as if we were looking slightly better in the last 10 minutes.

Would love to hear Robins HT team talk. I know we're unlikely to get a result but this is where we'd see how good he actually is. "Do yourself proud, keep tight and win the 2nd half"....

'87 Cup Final interviews in bbc commentary box

I've watched the old VHS video I had of the game about 8,000,000 times (slight exaggeration...maybe 7,000,000) and I don't recall seeing Houchens goal from that angle. When I saw it from that angle, I never appreciated how good Bennos cross was. I knew it was good but from that angle it looked...

    Which would you prefer ?

    1. 'They have put nothing into the team'...Apart from spending money on some players? (can't name them all but Westwood, Eastwood, Clingan, Jutkiewicz). Also, is paying players wages not putting something into the team?? 2. 'SISU are jeopadising our existence by refusing to pay any rent'...I...

How damaging could the current run of games be?

I think I'm the only one who fancies our chances at Spurs. Whether it's important or not, something keeps telling me that we could be the underdog springing a surprise for a change..and that's not thinking about 1987. So many times in the past years we've played 'smaller' teams and been on the...

Happy New Year to Sky Blues all over the world...

Happy new year SBS. In answer to your question, when I was 4 or 5, my mum met a man from Kenilworth whom she's now been married to for over 20 years. I did support Liverpool until then and then started following Coventry as they were his team. Never regretted it since! WM

Happy New Year to Sky Blues all over the world...

Although we all disagree on many subjects (SISU, Ricoh Arena, rent, Thorn, Bell, Debt yadda yadda yadda), we can all be agreed on one thing...we want success and continued success for our beloved Sky Blues. Whether you're in Australia (G'day....happy new year already), America or Alfreton...

    Controversial debate Robins

I think he's worked a miracle given the off the field distractions. I'm into lists at the moment (the missus rubbing off on me...no jokes there lads ) - * The main thing has been the mentality of the players. Truly miraculous that they were so low on confidence now brimming with it...
