Don't forget they have to be carried to their seats too. None of this walking nonsense.

Look forward to reading about that on the CT site.

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

Very interesting article, Duffer. Something we knew all along though isn't it. Unfortunately the "we've not got a home" sob story was swallowed by not only the Coventry Council but the Trust too. Too late now. The amusing part of Richardson's PR when stating they were nomadic was his...

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

Exactly my feelings on the matter. The CT were all out at CCFC for going to Northampton - rightly so, but not a murmur about Wasps moving 85 miles. It stinks from a local newspaper in my opinion. How on earth Simon can't see the tone of these articles really is beyond me. Even my Dad who pays...

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

I don't think there's a "shady arrangement" but you certainly are going on an all-out offensive with PR for them. You never do or have (at least for a long time) been this generous to the Citys' football team. Maybe you could link to some of the constant stories that haven't been positive?

How big a club are we?

Of course if admission was free along with a programme, food, beverages. If it was sunny every matchday and if we won comfortably every game then I'm sure some would still complain about something. You've only got to read this thread.

Their hedge fund that move a team around the country on a whim is fine. Our hedge fund who move a team around the country on a whim isn't. See? Totally different.

Why do we do it to ourselves ?

Yep. Big 5-0 for me this year and been going for 43 years, rain and shine, home and away. As you say it's in the blood and in my sons too. Last nights game was great, good atmosphere, exciting football, late equaliser. Thanks to the Club too for announcing my lads 9th birthday and sticking...

Yes, cost us a fortune there last season too. In fact one of the cheapest was Sheff Utd if I remember.

As I said in another post, we went to Cheltenham a couple of months ago, L2, and it was £30 for me and the kid. Football in the UK is expensive. Not just the nasty CCFC taking advantage of its fans.

I would say a player can cross a ball regardless of his position and it's not like he hasn't played there before. Reda and Pennington have been moved all over the place too.

They were useless. How did they not see their defender grab the ball in the first half?
