    New TV series 2019

Anyone managed to get Disney+ working? Can access the app and sign up for an account with a VPN but it doesn’t seem to accept payment from a card that doesn’t have a US address. Might have to get The Mandalorian via ‘alternative’ methods.

    New TV series 2019

Not a lot of good TV comedy around. Just started rewatching The Office yet again. Few recommendations: Detectorists if you haven’t seen it. Was on BBC 4 but seemed to fly under the radar. Think What We Do In The Shadows is still on iPlayer. if you’ve got Netflix Schitts Creek and The Good Place.

Bloke on this morning. Has spent £10K so far and hasn’t even had a call to say he’s no longer standing. Found out off the TV.

    FA Cup Second Round Draw

Would guess they'll move us to the Sunday as they won't want to play on the pitch 24 hours after us in potentially bad weather.

What an absolute shambles. Farage claiming Johnson is binning his EU deal and going back to negotiate again. Also refusing to refund money to candidates he's now blocked from standing. The candidates can't do anything about it as Farage set up a limited company to take the payments.

    FA Cup Second Round Draw

Will probably end up on TV at some weird time which will mean an even lower crowd.

Well its what his buddy Trump wanted him to do and Trump doesn't do anything that isn't to his own personal advantage. Sure the peerage he was offered to drop out of those seats didn't cross his mind when making the choice.

Thats the danger for leave isn't it. As Brexit Party haven't pulled out completely you're now going to get situations like this which will boost the incumbent, in this case Labour. Instead of the Convervatives needing to overcome a 7,650 deficit Brexit Party, lets assume thier votes are roughly...

Farage claiming now he is going to turn down the peerage he was offered on Friday to not run in the seats they've dropped out of.

    Wasps downward spiral...

If that's true that's an astounding level of incompetence from ACL. One of few, might even be the only one, annual events at the Ricoh that draws a crowd and after seven years they boot them out.

What about people who want to consider other issues besides brexit or are we planning on ignoring every other issue in the next parliment?

The show on Sky what is being done on VAR and its basically the same as that. They freeze the picture and then start drawing lines, there was one the other week where the two lines weren't parallel!

They will, for one week. Then it will be back to the old excuses.

That first picture shows you everything that is wrong with using it for marginal offsides. Look at the ball, its blurred, how can they be certain they have paused on the split second the ball is played. What do you even define that as, when the foot strikes the ball or when the ball leaves...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I certainly wouldn't vote the same way again if we got another go. Although I'm not going to say that's all down to this thread!

What an embarrassing climb down for Farage. Surely that’s him done with politics now, even his most ardent supporters will struggle to not see through this.

And you get the PGMOL rushing out statements to back up the ref and then having to change them later when everyone can clearly see they've messed up.

That's not what they've ruled. The PGMOL have said the goal stands as VAR does not show Alexander-Arnold handling the ball. The video of it is in this tweet. Isn't the whole point of VAR to correct the clear mistakes made on the pitch?
