    Spare Portsmouth Tickets?

Long shot; but does anyone have any spare Pompey tickets? I left it too late and missed out when they took them off sale. Looking for 2 if there's any going.

    Portsmouth Away

I didn't see this before, I only saw them announce they had gone off sale after, so I've missed out now. My fault for not getting them before. Gutted.

    March to the arch to

We have 6 very winnable (on paper - I know we don't always work like that) home games. Win them and pick up 2 wins away, or 1 win and a few draws, and we've done it. The next 3 are crucial to us having any chance, a win at Stanley would really set us up nicely ahead of 2 home games. Needing 7...

    Doyle Leaving?

I still think it's more the system. He did alright last season when we played Stoke and MK Dons (with an injury).

    Doyle Leaving?

Oh for sure, I fully understand that argument. Especially if we had been settign the world alight. I'm surprised we haven't tried Doyle and Kelly together at least once though, whilst we have been struggling the last few weeks. My original point is just that is is harsh that last season he...

    Doyle Leaving?

He has had a lot more ground to cover though, we are playing with a larger gap in the middle between the defence and attack this season, with genuine wide players. If we had played like this last season, especially without Kelly next to him, Doyle would have looked past it then, too.

    Doyle Leaving?

He couldn't get close, because he was covering a much larger amount of ground this season, he hasn't had the legs to play like that for about 4 years - ask Portsmouth fans. Last season, tactically, we were very compact, and Doyle was able to be use his positioning, closing down and leadership...

    Doyle Leaving?

Probably because he was out of position, as he had too much ground to cover? We did last season, and it seemed to work. His legs have been 'gone' for a good few years, but in the right tactics he, as last season proves, can be effective.

    Doyle Leaving?

I think this season has been a bit harsh on Michael Doyle. He hasn't once played alongside Kelly, and it has left him exposed alongside Bayliss, or someone else less defensively minded. So it's hard to tell if it is in fact that League 1 is too much of a step up at his age, or if it's just...

    I'll say it

Correct me if I'm wrong, as my memory is a little hazy of that era, but I seem to remember thinking the Dowie sacking was harsh at the time.
