Several EFL Clubs “days away from going bust”

Its up to the employers. for most people agreeing to furlough means a change of employment terms so employers can say you will only get the 80% and realistically you have no choice other than to accept.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Some of the photos on social media are astonishing. Problem is its not just those acting stupidly putting themselves in danger, they can carry it and pass it on to others who are following the advise.

I think you apply the party rules consistently. Those who in the report have racist, misogynistic or bullying attributed should be suspended pending investigation as has happened to others in the past, most recently Trevor Phillips and Faisal Shoukat. How many times in recent years did we hear...

There's a theory doing the rounds, although doesn't seem to be much in the way of evidence to back it up, that the reason Starmer is so reluctant to say who is backing him is down to their links to Blair. More than likley rubbish but when that mindset exists it would probably be a good idea if...

Meaningless when those on the frontline are saying they can't get access to testing. Will be interesting to see how many tests are being done compared to the claimed capacity. As we're still short on the number of tests a day needed should be at or near 100% usage of capacity.

I've ended up in a strange parallel world where Piers Morgan is the voice of reason. Nadine Dorries tweeted that full lockdown would last until a vaccine is found. Morgan picked up on it tweeting "Health minister says UK will be in ‘full lockdown’ until there is COVID-19 vaccine - which experts...

Several EFL Clubs “days away from going bust”

Situation in Scotland is predictably turning into a complete mess. If other leagues are looking at what's happening there it's more likely to put them off calling an early end to the season than anything else.

Not heard about that, is that to do with Snuka? You don't have to dig very hard to find all sorts of dirt on McMahon, amazing he's never ended up in jail.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Cast your mind back a few months and you'll recall Trump was having a tantrum with the NFL. Swiftly followed by his buddy Vince McMahon setting up an alternative, the XFL. Back to the present day and this fun little sequence of events. April 9 - Linda McMahon's Super PAC pledges to spend...

Why would the TV companies hand over money for contracts that have been breached for the rights to show games that have been cancelled? IMO more likely they will take legal action to recover money already paid. Premier League alone are said to be on the hook for £750m in TV money if they end the...

But we all know nothing happens without the approval of the Prem as they just threaten to end solidarity payments. Would also need their agreement on promotion and relegation. Also if you cancel the Championship, L1 and L2 but the Prem say they are going to complete the season then you have...

How does cancelling the season mean impact 'days away from going bust'? If anything it will be worse financially as they will have to hand back a portion of season ticket money, TV contracts etc. Not to mention the possibility of lawsuits to claim back money spent on games that were supposed to...

Are todays likely to be lower 'weekend' type numbers because of the bank holiday and then a jump tomorrow? Cautiously optimistic if these are regular numbers. The next problem will be there is no sign of an exit plan.

I've been waiting for someone in government to issue a correction over what Hancock said as it seems unthinkable that we were actually sending infected people into social care with some of the most vulnerable in society. Goes beyond incompetence.
