No guarantee. They could say end it now with no promotion or relegation.

If he turns up the day before announcing the easing of restrictions its not going to do much to dispel the idea that he's not been as ill as has been made out / is avoiding scrutiny / its all a PR exercise.

Easily solved by not opening the transfer window or not allowing new registrations. The option at the moment for players is they stay with their current club or they have no club at all. Using us as an example how many players will want to walk away from a potentially title winning season...

I'd rather finish the season then abandon it so if that means behind closed doors then it will have to be that way.

If you limit the numbers going in there's no issue. At worst you have a traffic issue and need to stop cars queuing on the public highway. If that continues to be an issue just have a system where you have to book a slot in advance.

IMO there's no point ending this season early when you have no idea what is happening months down the line. What happens if you end this season as 10 games were missed but then the go ahead for next season isn't given until September and 10 games have been missed. Do we cancel that one as well?

Don't think its a great idea for government advisers to be saying that. Already got people not paying attention to the guidelines, saying they might not be doing any good is just going to undermine efforts to get everyone to do as they are told.
