Whitty starts most of his comments with can i just add before saying something completely different to the minister that has just spoken! You do have to wonder if the scientific advisors fear they are going to be made the scapegoats with all this 'follow the science'. The briefings certainly...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Doubt there is much to this, just seems like EU regional investment, nothing to suggest it is the money used to bail out ACL. Must be a list of who has had grants / loans from that fund somewhere. Would expect it to be on the CCC site but it comes up as page not found.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

No wonder the games in the state it is, the people in charge are morons. Claims they have the joint best form in the league. We last lost on 14th December and had won 7 in a row before everything ground to a halt. Since 14th December they've lost 7 with only 1 win in the last 6!

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Just looking at the EFL rules and there's not really anything specific in there but you could easily make the argument based on the existing rules that all fixtures have to be played by 7th May. Clubs are supposed to complete fixtures by the last day of the season (3rd May) but there is a rule...

You get paid piece rate, any imperfect picks in the box and the entire box is rejected and you don't get paid. Its 10 hour shifts 6 days a week whatever the weather. Can't imagine why of the 50,000 applications they had last time they pushed this scheme only 112 people accepted jobs.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

That's got to have been taken out of context as it doesn't seem to stack up. Portsmouth's last available accounts, for 2018/19, have a total turnover of £3,648,544 after cost of sales. Don't see how that tally with losing £1m if they don't play their remain 4 home games which would be behind...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Anyone want to take a guess where Tranmere will finish if PPG is used? All the teams shouting about what is 'fair' and 'sporting integrity' seem to have something in common, can't quite put my finger on it.

Its a joke isn't it. Had a mate apply for one of these jobs and he was told he had to commit to three months and would have to live onsite. The cost of which would be deducted from the ridiculously low wage. Rules out anyone furloughed or with any responsibilities.

    Why are football clubs struggling?

Latest media reports are that the EFL intend to use Prenetics for testing and each club will be charged £100K. Clubs will also able to opt out and carry out their own independent testing. Its not just the testing. We've had cup games with low crowds where we've lost money due to it costing more...

    Why are football clubs struggling?

Given the cost of testing and the loss of revenue due to BCD playing the games would cost clubs far more money than it would generate.

    Why are football clubs struggling?

Most clubs were already loss making so throwing in losing ten games of income is going to be a problem. Potentially they will have to make pro-rata refunds on season tickets, advertising, sponsorship, hiring out of facilities on non-matchdays and broadcasting revenue. They also don't know what...
