EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Think I'm going mad as the BBC report reads to me like two votes as well! Probably the happiest I've ever been to be wrong as getting through one vote will be easier than two!

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I get that but that is part of the "draft framework that would be adopted into EFL Regulations". The press release also says "the EFL Board is recommending that the League adopts the original framework with the amendments as identified". To me that reads that these proposed amendments need to...

The press release says clubs need to vote on the proposed regulation changes?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Just checking I've got this right. There will be a vote to accept these as the new regulations and then assuming that passes a vote on if this season should be ended now? For the vote to change the regulations is it 51% in each division or 51% overall?

Its not tests done, that was established the last time the number suddenly jumped. That time it turned out they'd mailed home testing kits to thousands of Conservative party members and counted them with no idea if they'd even be returned. And in any case the promise was number of people not...

Makes me laugh when they claim “sporting integrity”, at least be honest about it.

Department of Health have now released their figures and its 60,744 people tested. Also includes a note saying "There have been several revisions to today’s data across all four testing pillars" whatever that's supposed to mean.

Get the point he's making but pushing the PM, or whoever is standing in for him, to commit to specifics is of no use if nothing happens when they fail. We all know they very clearly said they'd be testing 100K people a day, every day, by the start of May. That still isn't happening and is hardly...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Where they've said one of the options is play the games have they given any details of how they will achieve that? Loans will have ended, players will be out of contract, no fans means games being staged at a loss, hundreds of thousands needed to cover cost of testing. Those seem like fairly...

Is that just for one day? The figures weren't available yesterday due to a 'technical issue with the data collection systems'. Don't mean to be cynical but the highest figure so far this month is 78,537 people tested so that's a hell of a jump. Also we've more than doubled the number of tests...

Can you not see the issue? It was only lunchtime today we had this: Literally within a couple of hours we had this: We've had weeks of being told how this app was vital. Any criticism of us going it alone and using a different app to the rest of the world was brushed aside with a vague 'stop...

Completely coincidentally after another week where the lack of a baying crowd has exposed Johnson the remote option is being removed and MPs have to return to the chamber. Also, is this really the right time for a recess?

Its amazing how quickly the 'facts' presented at PMQs, or the daily briefings for that matter, fall apart under the slightest scrutiny,. Hard to believe that this level of incompetence is possible so you have to assume they throw these 'facts' out knowing more people will hear the lie than...

    salary cap proposed

Would love to see salary caps and restrictions on squad size brought in. Squad size restriction really needs to start at the top to prevent the top clubs hoarding players.

That was clearly the instruction and Johnson had obviously been prepped for it. He was giving his answers and building up to the rabble shouting down Starmer. Only problem was there wasn't enough of them in there for it to be in the slightest bit effective. Its very obvious why JRM is so...

Are you confident they will actually achieve that? Remember Hancock promising to “test 100,000 people per day” by the end of April? Here's the figures for May: Still not close to the 100,000 a day let alone the 200,000 a day Johnson promised by the end of May. He gives the impression he is...
