You get paid piece rate, any imperfect picks in the box and the entire box is rejected and you don't get paid. Its 10 hour shifts 6 days a week whatever the weather. Can't imagine why of the 50,000 applications they had last time they pushed this scheme only 112 people accepted jobs.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

That's got to have been taken out of context as it doesn't seem to stack up. Portsmouth's last available accounts, for 2018/19, have a total turnover of £3,648,544 after cost of sales. Don't see how that tally with losing £1m if they don't play their remain 4 home games which would be behind...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Anyone want to take a guess where Tranmere will finish if PPG is used? All the teams shouting about what is 'fair' and 'sporting integrity' seem to have something in common, can't quite put my finger on it.

Retweets anyone that praises him :emoji_heavy_check_mark: Blocks anyone that doesn't agree with him :emoji_heavy_check_mark: Posts weird coronavirus stuff :emoji_heavy_check_mark: He's backed himself into a corner and is getting increasingly desperate. Not least as he said he'd quit if they...

Its a joke isn't it. Had a mate apply for one of these jobs and he was told he had to commit to three months and would have to live onsite. The cost of which would be deducted from the ridiculously low wage. Rules out anyone furloughed or with any responsibilities.

    Why are football clubs struggling?

Latest media reports are that the EFL intend to use Prenetics for testing and each club will be charged £100K. Clubs will also able to opt out and carry out their own independent testing. Its not just the testing. We've had cup games with low crowds where we've lost money due to it costing more...

    Why are football clubs struggling?

Given the cost of testing and the loss of revenue due to BCD playing the games would cost clubs far more money than it would generate.

    Not using Cash since lockdown

Having just googled tiktok isn't it the same as tout that was around a few years ago and completely flopped or Vine which got the chop when other services added video? There's so much overlap on these sites its ridiculous, people must waste hours. Do new ones keep emerging just because kids...

    Why are football clubs struggling?

Most clubs were already loss making so throwing in losing ten games of income is going to be a problem. Potentially they will have to make pro-rata refunds on season tickets, advertising, sponsorship, hiring out of facilities on non-matchdays and broadcasting revenue. They also don't know what...

Way things are going it won't be long before someone suggests a tournament where all the clubs play each other, once at home and once away!

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Exactly, why would any team other than one that was out of the play offs but would now be in this expanded play off vote for it?

    ST holders poll

I can, people kicked off about getting a game 'free' next season to make up for the Bury game. Interestingly the club posted this at the time

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

The league has a format set out. Top 2 go up and then the next 4 in playoffs. As far as I'm concerned the only valid reason to change that is if the play offs can't take place, then you have to decide if its just 2 up or the top 3. I get clubs fighting their corner but wanting to change the...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

We're top and people are talking about us struggling in the Championship next season. Would make the league a complete joke if they ended up promoting the team in 11th!

Coronavirus Isolation - TV Shows to Binge

Went through Greg Daniels other new show at the weekend. Upload on Amazon. Wasn't expecting much from the trailer but it was excellent and given the cliff hanger has thankfully been renewed for a second season. Read an interview with Daniels at the weekend, he's got a pretty impressive hit...

Was just reading that in The Times, re-read it several times as I thought I was missing something. Not even due to start until next month, literally months behind other countries and we’re already talking about relaxing it.
