Their new statement says it was decided no further action was required relating to coronavirus. How did they manage that when it wasn't mentioned? You could say Dr Calderwood and / or Prof Ferguson was only a potential £60 fine but they were both forced to resign.

How arrogant do you have to be to, as an advisor, summon the press for what is essentially an address to the nation and then not bother to turn up on time.

Surely trying to push it onto a childs illness is a step too far even for Cummings and the Conservatives. If his son has autism then surely he would be better off in familiar surroundings, ie: the family members local to Cummings assisting with childcare in Cummings London residence if Cummings...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

That's what I looked at but they're referencing section 13 and 14.5. 13 is to do with grounds, things like ground shares and pitch dimensions. 14 only has 14.1 and 14.2, 14.5 doesn't exist! Those regulations seem to put the responsibility for ensuring all fixtures are completed by the final day...

Fortunately for this government things like that don't seem to be an issue.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Can anyone find the EFL articles of association? Nothing seems to come up online yet all the Peterborough and Tranmere supporters seem to know them inside out.

Championship to have say in league one outcome?

How has he come to that conclusion from what is being voted on? Or is he just referring to the first vote which is across all three divisions to allow the regulations to be updated? The proposal but forward by the EFL is that each division votes on if they wish to end the season early or not.

Another example here from someone whose child was in GOSH, while they were staying with him in hospital they required childcare for their other child. "We spoke at length to our medical teams, and infection control to establish what was and was not acceptable and whether our situation was...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Isn't there a rule that you can't start a league season while taking legal action against the EFL? Think that's what they used when Leeds wanted to take them to court. If so is he happy for the club to drop out of the league completely so he can sue them?

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

The Huddersfield owner has said 50 or 60 clubs are in danger of going bust. No matter how strongly you felt about PPG / promotion & relegation would you want to be the one taking action against the EFL which causes the league to collapse?

See the new instructions have been dispatched from Conservative HQ. Now its nobody should question Cummings actions as one of his kids has autism. Didn't realise he was the only person in the country to have a child who was autistic.

Looking at what some Conservative MPs are saying about the response from their constituents think the issue is that so many people have been hugely impacted personally by this and feel like the government is sticking two fingers up at them.

Hope that turns out to be the case. I certainly won't be rushing to the pub or anywhere else with loads of people. Some experts have long been predicting that the second wave won't come until winter so it could be a while before we can actually declare this all over and done with.
