EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Seems the clubs have the choice of the EFL proposal, which is consistent across all divisions, maintains the play off format, maintains the correct number of teams in each division. Or the Tranmere proposal which could end up with something different applied to every division, completely tears...

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

Unless a Prem club is in for him I'd say we've got a good a chance as anyone. Wouldn't have to move across the country, playing for a manager he knows and knows has faith in him, excellent chance of being a first team regular.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

The EFL proposed regulation change was about 10 lines, Tranmere's is 7 pages, no wonder people can't understand it! Also the point of the EFL change was to permanently have a solution. Tranmere only want this to cover the current season.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

You've only looked at L1 teams, it would need to get past at least 51% of all EFL clubs first. If it does then L1 votes and if they decide to play on Tranmere's proposal doesn't come into it. Can't see why Oxford, Portsmouth, Peterborough or Fleetwood would vote for the Tranmere method. That...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

There's a clarification on the Tranmere site which makes it even more batshit crazy than I originally thought. The whole point of the proposed regulation from the EFL is that a rule is but in place for consistency across the divisions. Tranmere are now saying their proposal allows each division...

Coronavirus Isolation - TV Shows to Binge

Gone through a few episodes tonight and I’m enjoying it. First episode is heavy on setting up but it’s much better from episode 2 onwards.

What are the actual rules at the moment. I've lost track with the way they randomly keep changing things. I'm assuming as he was symptomatic he should have been self isolating but now that he's tested positive does that mean that those who came into contact with him have to isolate as well...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Could just mean that's what various clubs have submitted. If that's the case doesn't mean any / all will get to the stage of being voted on.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

If they've run it for 5, 10, 20 years stick the data up and show it doesn't make any difference to shut people up - easy. Anyway she's created her own problem now. Claimed that was the greatest plan ever and that independent experts agreed. Now they've scrapped that and come up with something...

When did Starmer want the restrictions lifted? I can remember him repeatedly asking what the plan was but can't recall him saying restrictions should be removed now.

How tone deaf do you have to be to respond to an email about this subject by saying they have it coming? Seems like a lovely chap. Tory MP says wearing blackface is an 'entirely acceptable bit of fun'

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Yep, they're having enough issues trying to get Championship games on, last thing they need is another division to sort out. Plus when you move down to L1 theres more financial implications to deal with. The competition rules seem to put the responsibility for completing fixtures on the clubs...

Johnson complaining about people not being positive when we have one of, if not the, highest death rates in the world. No working track and trace. Testing numbers still tens of thousands below the level promised.

Absolute madness. Fine to have crowded beaches and parks. Fine to open non-essential shops up. But somewhere like Chester Zoo, with 128 acres, not allowed to open.
