Seen a couple of journalists for other papers / channels flag this up. From what I have read seems the BBCs own procedures for handling complaints got completely thrown out of the window.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Yes, its a vote to change the regulations to allow PPG first which just needs a majority across all 3 divisions. Then if that passes each division can vote on if they want to end the season now or not, assume the vote in L2 still stands so they've already decided to finish.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

What happens if the additional financial pressures on clubs due to their plan causes other clubs to collapse? Won't less teams have a bigger impact on their finances than a season in L2 rather than L1? The Huddersfield chairman was suggesting 50 to 60 clubs could be in trouble. They should at...

Hancock definitely hasn't been sent to do the media rounds 'launching' a track and trace system that isn't ready that staff weren't told out until last night and can't logon to as a distraction from Cummings.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I'd want our owners to fight our corner but there's a point where you have to just accept your fate. Coming up with weird mathematical formulas, hugely extending playoffs and changing the number of teams in the divisions just to try and avoid relegation would I think be a step too far for most...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

It has been, put in either of those scenarios its likely Tranmere will be relegated so he's decided to propose an alternative where miraculously they don't go down. The EFL regulations state there is no requirement for clubs to get a vote on any proposal put forward by a member club so the...

Always a good look to laugh when you're the health secretary whose overseen a crisis leading to 63,800 excess deaths. He also talked about being ahead on track and trace when we are one of the few countries not to have a working app. He claimed track and trace being launched 4 days early is not...

Turns out now we've all got it wrong anyway. Seems that when Johnson made commitments to test a certain number of people every day he did't actually mean the number of people who would be tested, or even the number of tests that would be carried out. He actually meant testing capacity. How...

Are we living in some sort of dictatorship now? The government seem unanswerable to the people and anyone who questions them is removed. Out of interest what was Kuenssberg's punishment when her reporting on Corbyn was found to have breached impartiality and accuracy guidelines?

Thought Jeremy Corbyn had signed up to the forum for a minute :playful: It would be nice to think that this was leading to an improvement in workers pay and conditions but the fact that Johnson removed the requiement to match EU standards from the Brexit bill last December promising an...

Just in case anyone was wondering who the Dido is that Johnson kept referencing its Dido Harding who has been put in charge of the track and trace program. She was in charge of TalkTalk when the suffered one of the largest data breaches the UK has ever seen, reports at the time said "TalkTalk...

For the 5th day in a row no figure available for number of people tested due to a 'technical error'. Presumably the same technical error that seems to have occurred every day since it was flagged tests were being counted multiple times.

People were interested until they found out the terms. You had to commit to a minimum of 3 months. 8 hour shifts 6 days a week in all weathers. Living on-site (you can be sent anywhere in the country) for which a deduction is made from your wage. Paid piece rate and a single 'wrong' pick in a...

Correct and at the same time the bill that passed through parliament this week allows our future trade deals to allow foreign countries access to the UK market without having to meet UK standards. This is why those in the industry are furious at the government. After all the promises they have...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Would be interested to see a financial breakdown for a club such as Tranmere comparing a struggling season in L1 with a promotion chasing season in L2. May be wrong but I suspect the difference is not huge.
