    Site confirmed for New stadium

Also talk of a train station to service the uni. https://coventryobserver.co.uk/news/revealed-new-station-plan-for-coventry-outskirts-new-homes-and-warwick-university-in-time-for-hs2/ Lets face it pretty much any site is going to have issues, there's nowhere in the city you could magically...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Would love to be optimistic but just having Johnson get up and say everything will be back to usual by Xmas while the experts are saying the opposite doesn't give me reason to. We're just hearing soundbites from the government, there not showing any actual plan as to how they will achieve...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Astonishingly this isn't fake As well as Botham its being reported their will be peerages for four former Labour MPs, Frank Field & Gisela Stuart (who both supported Brexit) and Ian Austin & John Woodcock (who both told Labour supporters not to vote for Corbyn).

Whitty pretty much implied that today. Said "when children go back to school we may have to put in other measures to make up for that".

    Ricoh is confirmed?

A useable pitch shouldn't really be an optional extra when hiring a football stadium!

    Ricoh is confirmed?

Didn't we sign a multi-year deal for St Andrews last year with a get out clause if we wanted to go back to the Ricoh?

On one side you've got Sir Patrick Vallance FRS FMedSci FRCP and Chris Whitty CB FRCP FFPH FMedSci, on the other Johnson. I know which side I'd trust.

To get completely accurate data could take years. People will need to drill down in to it and you will need to offset figures for later this year and into next year. For example if cancer patients have tragically died earlier as they havre stopped treatment then that will be taken into account...

To get back to the original subject while it applies to gigs not sporting events Music Venue Trust have issued a statement saying they were working with the government on how to reopen venues safely but the government have blindsided them with an announcement they knew nothing about and aren't...

They're getting absolutely desperate to deflect blame. Anyone who has been paying the slightest attention to the figures knew there were issues with accuracy, its not something that's been hidden. Its the reason most people are looking at excess deaths as the most accurate figure.

Surely they can give it a go now. Bowling doesn't look that dangerous and there's potentially a rain interrupted day tomorrow. They're in danger of not giving themselves enough time to bowl them out twice.

    Palace v Man Utd

Could not agree with this more. You can easily get rid of diving in the game. Start at the top, every PL game reviewed and 5 match ban for a dive. Might sound extreme but they'd soon stop. Imagine Grealish having to explain to his manager he'll be out for 5 games because he tried to cheat...

Not sure much is being based on science tbh. The science seems to suggest the virus ideal conditions are cold and damp but we're opening ice rinks.

Would love to be able to go to games and gigs but I think I'll wait and see what the scientists say before getting too excited. Especially after Sir Patrick Vallance's comments yesterday on how the scientific advise has been repeatedly ignored by the government. Right as flu season is kicking...

    Telegraph Moving?

Didn't realise they still had an office in Cov. Think they moved all the online staff to a centralised office in Birmingham a while back. How many staff do they have left that just cover the city, can't be many. Suspect they'll just move them to working from home. Canal basin seems to be...

    Palace v Man Utd

They've completely lost sight of what it was for. People wanted the huge errors corrected, not spending 5 minutes to see if someone's toe is offside. For me you have someone in the video room flag up to the ref he needs to take a look and the ref has a quick look at the pitch side monitor. If...

Yep, you get all their channels on that. Can stream it to your TV as well. Just need to make sure you select the right subscription as you'll never get hold of them on the phone! The Sky version comes with the online player bundled in, the others don't. People need to make sure they select the...

Its noticeable that this innings seems really slow but in reality its a run rate that would have been a regular occurrence 15 years ago.
