    Wasps downward spiral...

Yep, and the rental in an increasingly competitive market place is a lot lower than people imagine.

    Ricoh Lease...

That's the one. Not a bad deal when you think if we hadn't broken our original lease we'd have paid £65m over 50 years for access on matchdays only with no revenues. Of course we did get an offer to buy access to matchday revenues for a one off payment of £24m.

    Ricoh Lease...

The loan was paid back by the bond. I know the purchase price was for ACL and the valuation is for the lease but even so it raises a lot of questions for me. Especially when you consider at the time of purchase we were playing there. There's not a valuation due for a while I don't think but...

    Ricoh Lease...

You're thinking of AEG, SISU wanted to bring them in to run the non-football side of things (ie manage the stadium bowl and arena). I suspect had that happened we would have eventually ended up with AEG as club owners - they have a track record of owning teams that play in their venues and they...

    Wasps downward spiral...

Its no secret that Wasps were looking at Brentford prior to their move here. Seems it was the favoured option among their fans. When the move to the Ricoh was announced Wasps claimed Brentford was ruled out as it wouldn't be possible to play rugby there yet it later emerged they were one of...

Open the pubs and tell everyone you're not allowed to meet people inside. We're governed by idiots.

Could this be good news for us to return to the Ricoh?

Richardson must be mental if he's personally guaranteed it. Didn't he sell his insurance business for £40M? Think he's got outstanding loans to Wasps of about £20m, if it all goes tits up and he has to write that off and is on the hook for £35m in bonds he's screwed.

    Pubs

I'll be staying clear for a while I think. Not worth the risk. Went past Miller and Carter earlier on the way home and the staff were standing around outside chatting with zero social distancing. Just can't see people sticking to any sort of social distancing once they've had a few. Only have...

Could this be good news for us to return to the Ricoh?

Think Wasps Holdings Limited and Arena Coventry Limited are the guarantors. But ACL is a subsidiary of Wasps Holdings anyway. I would assume if the bonds aren't repaid its because they don't have the money, you're not therefore going to get far going to Wasps or ACL. At that point don't the...

New Season Kit - Any News?

Exactly this. Quick look at their kit history and since 1901 its been a plain blue top, except for some reason 1929/30 when they went with sky blue! Was never likely to be anything too radical. They haven't revealed the away kit yet, maybe they'll go nuts on that one. Although again there's...

Could this be good news for us to return to the Ricoh?

Suspect we missed a chance to be rid of SISU when Anderson came in. Seemed a very odd appointment at the time, given his background why would he want to work for SISU, but if you recall the first thing he did was say to everyone forget what has happened before and lets try and do a deal. Then...

Could this be good news for us to return to the Ricoh?

While that's correct its not the bank who are owed the money, would be easier if it was. They were also struggling before this. Given that when they last breached them they changed the rules about income to allow the owner to put in cash to 'top up' the fact they've now breached them again...
