That's the important part. Our legal system is reliant on that so if you set the precedent that the government can make people stateless then there's nothing to stop the same applying to anyone else they want to remove citizenship from.

Complete understand any scepticism but I can't see the Uni agreeing to have their name involved without there being something to it. Also doubt its something that's been thrown together quickly, too many people would have to sign off on it before the Uni would be making announcements like this...

On the one hand you don't want to be alarmist but on the other you look at what's happening here and in the US and wonder where it ends up.
