    Football is back!!!! Premier League

This is obviously hindsight but does the ref not check it is working? They check goal nets and things like that, would have thought that should be checked as well.

    Football is back!!!! Premier League

I’ve seen more replays of the players kneeling than I have of the ‘goal’.

    Football is back!!!! Premier League

Goal line tech blatantly isn’t switched on. They normally have the computerised replay straight away to show if it’s in or not. Assume the ref didn’t ask for VAR as he assumes the goal line tech will be right. Someone at the VAR centre should have had a word and told him it needed looking at.

That looked over the line to me. Is the goal line technology accurate?

There was a documentary on the foreign office which covered some of Johnson's time as Foreign Secretary. Definitely worth a watch, not on iplayer anymore but all 3 episodes are on daily motion.

    Wasps downward spiral...

So that's £3.5m on interest, £10m to Richardson, £13.4m to repay the council loan. Whats the other £8m gone on, covering losses? On the face of it seems they've taken out what is essentially a loan for £35m and having spent it all have nothing much to show for it.

Do the schools have any idea how much work is actually being done by pupils? Its great that the move to remote teaching was done so quickly and that work can be provided for over the summer but are the kids actually paying attention? The memorial is rammed full of large groups of kids every day...

Does Johnson do any prep for PMQs? Certainly doesn't seem like it. Not like the questions are unexpected. Did laugh at the speaker accidentally addressing Starmer as Prime Minister. And this from Hancock

Not a good sign as we look to open things back up, only a week into the reopening of bars in Florida. https://www.newsweek.com/florida-bars-are-shutting-down-again-after-new-positive-coronavirus-cases-1510906

This government is beyond parody. While Johnson is waving around a packet of Tim Tams they're releasing this video to highlight the rivalry between the UK and Australia. Slight problem being this is Northern Ireland v Ukraine from Euro 2016! Here's the former Australian PM explaining where...

Couple of people I know who run bars, actually small music venues but small enough to come under pubs and bars, have only had information from their brewery and local licensing unit. On the face of it that would make sense except they have made clear they are essentially best guessing as...

It's quite worrying. In the last couple of weeks we've had racism and kids going hungry highlighted as issues in this country. Mind blowing that a significant portion of the population are against resolving those issues. These are things that should unify everyone.

The school meals u-turn is good news, although not so good when the PM says he didn't know about the issue until yesterday. Starmer asked him about it in PMQs last week didn't he?

Last Tuesday was 1,741 before that 1,653; 2,004 and 2,412 so that's certainly good news. Although still concern at how slowly the rate is coming down. Next couple of weeks will be vital. Between people at parks & beaches, street parties, various protests and the scenes we saw as shops reopened...

This is why effective track and trace is so important. Even if we get effective treatment it could still mean weeks / months in hospital. Absolutely vital that as restrictions are eased people are traced and tested quickly.

It's an important breakthrough no doubt but also important not to overstate it. When you look at the trial they're talking about it saving one in eight of patients on ventilators and one in twenty five of patients on oxygen. Great news no doubt, being able to save lives with an existing safe...

    Season Tickets

Of course you can sue the club. You'd have to prove that the season ticket was purchased for a set number of games rather than in line with the terms and conditions given at the time of purchase. Personally think that would be a strong argument but not sure it would be worth all the hassle given...

    Wasps downward spiral...

They said they were using the bond money to pay the interest on the bond, at 6.5% a year that's £16m to start off with. Add in paying Richardson back and paying the council loan off and that's the bond money gone. Next time round they will have years of actual trading history rather than just...
