For me that's two separate issues, the debate over capital punishment is a huge issue by itself. Completely agree that mental health shouldn't be used as a get out, but we all know there are lawyers who will try anything. Of course mental health can cover a huge array of issues, some relatively...

Are you suggesting bringing back capital punishment for this person specifically, murderers in general or just anyone who has mental health issues?

Not playing stupid, have no idea what you're getting at. The police and media have been accused of treating this case differently because it concerned a Somali refugee yet it turns out he was British, recently released from prison and known to have serious mental health issues. Once he was...

According to the government's own figures we've had capacity for over 320K tests a day every day since 21st July. In that time there's only been 3 days where we've done over 200K tests. Yet we're told people can't get tests and are being made to travel for hours. Something doesn't add up once again.

They were discussing exactly that on Radio 4 recently and they seemed to agree that if it was implemented properly those issues could be avoided. Spoke about things like rent controls which they said would be very easy to implement as every property already has a council tax band which could be...

They had someone from the O2 Arena management team on LBC this morning who said they weren't expecting to be allowed to run any events with crowds until April 2021 at the earliest.

There's nothing stopping companies making jobs that don't exist redundant other than them not wanting to pay redundancy. Don't know how representative it is but I know at my company there is a lot of staff on furlough yet speaking to the few that are in they are saying its chaos and the workload...

Yet since they suddenly changed the daily figures from the number of tests done to test capacity to try and fudge the fact they were way below the promised numbers we've been told there's masses of unused capacity every day. Also if the issue is lab capacity and not the actual tests why are...

    Match Thread Solihull Moors Away

Got to be honest, completely forgot we were playing tonight. Don’t blame them being extra cautious with Jones. Good to see Dabo and Rose getting minutes. We either have amazing physios or their injuries maybe weren’t as bad as initially made out.

yep, I’m watching a meaningless game of cricket in a series England have already won rather than the football. Southgate has defeated me!

So yet again incorrect information being put out by official bodies as on there it quite clearly states you only get a test if you have symptoms. No wonder people are confused as to what they are supposed to do.

Having told everyone to go to the pub, eat out to help out and get back to the office they're now blaming young people for the rise in positive test results as they've been going to pubs, restaurants and offices. Hancock has also been doing the rounds saying there's an issue that young people...
