Ran in the 3000mtrs in the midland league at Godiva today. Standard was pretty immense. I ran 10mins48 (which for all the parkrunners is bang on 18mins pace for 5km) and I could still only finish 8th out of 9, and was lapped by two people.

There is a service through Malvern/Malvern Link, to New Street, something like hourly. If I recall it takes around an hour, passing through Worcester and Bromsgrove.

You obviously know the area well... but as someone who spends a fair amount of time there myself, I’d certainly consider the Beddgelert property as a first choice, even though it’s more expensive (if you can afford it). It’s right in the thick of it for the Snowdon tourists.
