There's also an issue of funding. It's all well and good them citing the likes of Dr Who and Downtown Abbey as the type of programs they want. PSBs don't have the funding to fill the schedule with programs like that, they need the cheap crap to fill the rest of the Tim.

I can think of lots of examples of shows made by PSBs that are obviously British, nothing springs to mind that isn't. Seems like they're trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist and in a way that will be virtually impossible to define.

Shouldn't we be at the stage where we're being told the success stories? Seems a bit late to be outlining potential opportunities.
