    Blaze offer for City fans

Of course it makes economic sense, it is a much bigger market potentially. It is the same economics that moved the team from Solihull to Coventry. To be honest, I don't really care as I'm not a fan of the sport, but I am sure if the operators of a Birmingham based ice rink were to make an...

Guess the gate for Hartlepool replay

On that basis then you'd attend about 4 games a season even if we were playing in Coventry. Although, at least you're honest and admit you just cannot be arsed most of the time. The crowd will be terrible for this game, although apparently they're expecting over 4000 on Boxing Day - although I...

Has anyone got a spare ticket for Swindon?

Use chrome or firefox and it should work fine. Also needs flash, so doesn't work on many tablets, but have had no issues with buying tickets online for months now.

    Blaze offer for City fans

If Birmingham build a large ice rink (which has been talked about for years) and look to move in an IH franchise, the Blaze will be off like a shot. Naive to think otherwise.

Don't worry Clarke it is Panto season!!!!!!!!!!!

In truth no, he is a full-back. I think Christie is likely to go anyway so Clarke will revert to his natural position in the new year.

Don't worry Clarke it is Panto season!!!!!!!!!!!

Bit of a scapegoat today, thought he had a good game actually and was only partially at fault for the second goal.

Since you mentioned the WT, thought I'd share. Now THAT'S a football stadium :D

The West Terrace is not a good example, it didn't have a roof (just an overhang that covered the back half a dozen rows). The roof at the Ricoh is too high and it doesn't allow for good acoustics and makes the ground feel too open. It's a minor point though, there are much bigger faults than that.

But you can't judge a football ground based just on the structure, that is absurd. Would anyone buy a 6 bedroom farm house in Wood End? Location is everything. Dump the Emirates just inside the M25 and it becomes a whole different experience. I'd also argue that the quality of the building...

But that is not what we were discussing. I am an extremely proud Coventrian, and will often defend the city against criticism (much of which is unwarranted). I was just responding to the comment that said it is "one of the finest football stadiums in the country". I disagree with that, I...

No, I didn't say it was the truth, I said it was an opinion.

I don't know anyone who likes it; but perhaps that's because I have no mates. It is scruffy, bleak and windswept, the whole area is depressing in the extreme. I hate the King Power (the stadium) but at least they built it next to Filbert Street and you can walk to the town centre, train...
