From what I can see he’s spent half the season injured.
Also see Marcus Browne has scored for Oxford. Would be a good alternative/complement to O’Hare.
There was another coach pulled in, just got on it and kept my head down. Was one running from a pub around Stoke Heath area. Pissing down with rain and phone had ran out of battery, so ended up walking to the Ricoh to get a lift home.
That’s a good shout actually. Actually at Middlesbrough now and has 3 years remaining on his contract, but with the fact there’s been a change of manager (Warnock) he may be available and probably wouldn’t command a hefty fee. Someone we’ve been linked with before so it’s possible.
Edit: having...
Comes down to wages. He was on £28k a week at Everton. Depends whether he feels he’s set for life off that or whether he fancies another payday. I’d take him at the right price.
Was watching that Sunderland docu-series earlier on Netflix and it reminded me of Josh Maja who went off to Bordeaux. Thought that may be an interesting one to look into - turns out he’s on €65k a week!
It is a preserve of the left (and, for the record, I’d class myself as left of centre) to try and cure all of the world’s ills in one fell swoop. With things like this, incremental change is what is needed.
Where are you getting that from? From what I can see, Hearsall Common is exempt from the Commons Register but doesn’t necessarily mean it’s an option for building (though I could be horrendously misinterpreting!).
I do understand where you’re coming from, but you also need to remember we are higher profile now so I’d argue there is more interest taken in us for these kind of things.
That’s the rule for international transfers (i.e. under different FAs) but I believe nothing can be agreed with English clubs until the last month of a player’s contract.
Nevertheless, we could sign O’Hare now but is it the intention to sign him once we know when the season will start?
