How much of the output from China & India is from countries like the UK moving their manufacturing requirements there? https://globalenergymonitor.org/report/china-continues-to-lead-the-world-in-wind-and-solar-with-twice-as-much-capacity-under-construction-as-the-rest-of-the-world-combined/...

    Road closures

tbf if we're asking Pete to go to the club and suggest removing the road closures the club say have been put in place due to the risk of supporters being run over we're going to need a bit more than people being annoyed that they get home a bit later. Probably need some more specifics about...

its the inconsistency again. Either you have refs telling players they aren't injured and to get on with it all the time or you stop every time and make sure that time is added on. 7 minutes injury time and they didn't even go off for a 10 minute rain break!

Poll: Should Robins Stay Or Should He Go Now?

this is the thing. before the game you've got people demanding players stay in as they've earned it and then when it goes tits up the same people call Robins clueless for not making changes!

I think it's understandable you've got generations now who look at the current generation of retirees with envy. I'd love the life my dad had tbh. He left school with a handful of qualifications, got a job at a local firm and worked there until he retired. Off the back of that he had a good...

Officials don't do themselves any favours do they. You can easily argue that's a yellow, but there's no way you could say it meets a 'higher standard' that they've suddenly decided to start telling us exists.

    Road closures

Was definitely reopened a lot sooner yesterday. Left my seat at the final whistle and by the time I’d walked back to the car park they were opening up again. Last few games I’ve not left as quickly and been sat in the car 15-30 minutes until the roads reopened

Poll: Should Robins Stay Or Should He Go Now?

Can't help wondering if a lot of people are a bit too confident that changing manager can't lead to things getting worse. In some ways it reminds me of how confidently people would proclaim that relegation from the Premier League would do us go, one season winning the Championship with ease...

    Referreing

At one point one of our coaches tried to speak to the 4th official and he literally gave him the ‘talk to the hand’ They aren’t interested. They think they’re doing a fantastic job and everyone criticising them is wrong.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Not sure you get a huge amount of money if you’re on the sick. But irrespective of that you need to look at the causes and how you can help people back into work. Most people do actually want to work and aren’t on the sick for an easy life. Can’t see that number getting much lower tbh when you...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

How many 'feckless' are there living it large? I remember when my job was in jeopardy during covid I had a look how much I'd be entitled to and it was fuck all, I would have been on the streets within a month. Not sure I buy the idea that there's huge numbers of people having a nice comfortable...

What’s with the trend of ….

don't really go away these days due to family commitments but thinking back to when I did can't really remember stewards telling people to sit where they want very often. Happened every now and then when we'd be rattling round an empty away end. I can imagine the people who sign off on event...

    Bus Wan**rs

3 hours max, but the station is £5.50 for weekend parking. They don't do an evening rate so you'd need Grosvenor Road car park or the SkyDome for evening games. If they keep running these wouldn't be a bad idea to add a stop at the park and ride at the memorial.

What’s with the trend of ….

Why should that be the case? I can't imagine any safety group or event planner going 'well its football so the rules don't apply. Just let them do what they want and cross your fingers there's no issues'.
