The irony here is that he made his career in risk management. He must know he's fucked this project up good and proper.

Skysports - Coventry 1-2 Sheffield United: Protests overshadow Blades win

Well yes Reg. But listening to him talk he's obviously not that bright. We can argue that someone with such limited intelligence shouldn't be on the board but within his limitations he did well to tread a middle ground - pointing out that as the manager he cannot say anything one way or the other.

Match Thread Coventry v Sheff Utd Match Thread - Thursday 15th Dec

I thought that the team as a whole played pretty well last night, including DKE and Bigi. What we are lacking is any teeth up front, which is hardly surprising as we are playing kids. From last night, the team is just lacking a couple of wingers and a striker to partner Sordell to escape...

Skysports - Coventry 1-2 Sheffield United: Protests overshadow Blades win

A good straight bat from Venus. He's not the most articulate of people clearly but he did the right thing in refusing to be drawn.

    Sheffield United fans

Everything sung at a football match is banter in my opinion - no reason to get upset about it. Disappointing, I agree, that they have no empathy but come on - remember that it's a handful of people who start a song and the rest like sheep follow. A classier response, rather than confrontation...

What's your favorite Christmas song/pice of music

Obviously The Pogues, but I also like a bit of Gregorian chanting at Christmas.

Does anyone else get the feeling?

I don't think the performance on the pitch even registers - not a priority at all. If something leads to an exit it will be as Prefect says: sell up everything and exit stage left - not performances.

    Venus interview

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04kyvrt He sounds completely defeated - with a heavy dose of Alan Latchley thrown in: "and it is a football club".

    Venus interview

Earth. If he was trying to control the team from elsewhere it would take too long for team selections to come through.

Match Thread Southend v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 10th Dec

We could be in the Conference in 18 months. Personally I think that might be the trigger for SISU to move on: tiny crowds and time enough for all court cases to end.

Match Thread Southend v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 10th Dec

I've worked in places where the senior management team are useless and it trickles down like effluent all over everyone no matter how motivated and talented they are at the start. This has to be the problem - how many managers have we tried? They can't all be crap.

    Investment on the Horizon?

Lots of assuming going on here; I guess it doesn't do any harm. :)

Oh to have owners like this .

They all have big pockets, sadly most have short arms.

    Investment on the Horizon?

Another thought - these rumours may be behind the dramatic drop in form. If there really is money coming in soon almost all will know their days at CCFC are numbered.

    Investment on the Horizon?

This could be mitigated by a clause in the contract that they get to keep court proceeds. They might even try to use it in their favour ('it was so bad we were forced to sell our investment...')

I think there is more to the Jamie Sterry being injured!

It's far more likely to be a conspiracy than someone in marketing being non specific.

Brian Richardson or Tim Fisher ?

Is Richardson Fisher's Dad? I had heard the rumour but didn't believe it

    parcel2go.com

I do a bit of online selling to supplement my wages. This website is a portal to several low cost couriers. Two weekends ago I sent 5 parcels with them, paying slightly less than Royal Mail, I followed the instructions to the letter - enter the mass - select a service - acknowledge that the...
