Kelly and McFadz playing really well. Not taking anything away from their keeper but O'Hare and Walker both have to score from those positions. In one scene, that's why O'Hare isn't playing at a higher level yet. Great to get a deep, deep zoom into Robing's eyes at one point. So, he's got...

These kind of interfaces are bread and butter for large companies with loads of bespoke systems. Being doing them since the late 80s when I first started in IT (and before that). In fact, one of the first interfaces I ever wrote was a feed to a *real* robotic system which was picking documents...

If you tell me the odds that they will lose each game, I'll work out the odds they lose all of them. So, for example, the odds they lose on Tuesday are 7/4. Same on Thursday (just over) - taken from Betfair. The odds they lose both are approx. 7/1. The Brum game odds are roughly the same. Using...

    Death List 2021

I don't know how he got it, but a mate of mine has a copy of the DM that Meghan Markle sent the Queen after the DoE's death: "R u ok hun? So sad for u. Hes with the angles now. DM me. x"

Ooo, is this a guessing game? I like them. Can we ask yes/no questions or is it just a straight guess of what you're thinking? I'll assume the former. Do they both usually play as strikers?

Does anyone else think that how good Thursday's result is will depend upon Tuesday? I do.

From reading I think we're talking about the same thing. What you describe sounds like an interface between two systems, not what I was calling Robotics.

Biden attempting to tackle international tax avoidance

I cannot see how that would work, they'd have to participate. The whole thing would fall apart if the biggest economy in the world exempted themselves. Europe and the UK have been looking for solutions to this for years, which don't really work without the States.

Oh no, you're not going to go on a march in protest are you? All those shop windows in St. Albans aren't going to smash themselves.

Biden attempting to tackle international tax avoidance

Not directly. Biden wants to change corporation tax so that it is charged in the location of sale rather than where the company is registered. A consequence of that is that nations such as Ireland and Hungary which have low populations and low corporation tax will lose money, which instead...

Biden attempting to tackle international tax avoidance

That's a good point. One of the issues with this is indeed tax incentives. Countries with higher corporation tax tend to compensate with incentives to make companies do the things they want. That's complicated when tax is divided by where the sale took place, rather than where the IP is...

Biden attempting to tackle international tax avoidance

Surprised that you are for this, Tony, as it's essentially an "America First" type policy - taking tax revenue from poorer countries with small consumer populations and giving it to richer more populous nations such as the USA. Are you sure you read the briefing paper correctly? Can we get...
