Only those saying 15 points have any chance of predicting correctly. And only 40% of the way through.

Video Frank Lampard and Jamie Allen react to Coventry City's win against Watford 🎙️

I noticed that the lad who walked on with him at the start was only just shorter than wee Jamie.

    Paddy Bamford

Cool. I saw it from FLW, they obviously nicked it.

If this is true (massive if as it came from football league World) it will be similar to the Patterson deal.: influence in training, seat on the bench, maybe come on for a few cameos and score an important late worldie off his shin.

    Ellis simms

Absolutely delighted that Ellis has his mojo back. He always gave off vibes of having low self-confidence, which is disabilitating and in his case totally unmerited. A great display yesterday and he can kick on further from here.

Match Thread Portsmouth FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 21st Oct

Deserving to be in front at half time. Pompey have had a few moments, none of which were significant. Otherwise we are in control and could have scored four or five already. All of our players doing well. Simms deserving his chance. I predict the Portsmouth sluice gates to glide wide open...

Ooo errr... that heat map looks a bit rude.

I hope I don't regret this; I think we will beat them. The caveat is always 'if we turn up' but we seem to be doing that every game this season. I think we will win a lot of away games this season because the home team won't put 11 behind the ball, giving our attack space. And we have so many...

    Victor Torp

Must be at least £5m, probably more. I've always liked the look of him but this season he's gone up a rung or two.

Match Thread Coventry City - Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 18th Oct

Oh bugger. I was talking to my wife about him yesterday... how it was amazing that we had a 16 year old make it to the bench without being collected for a few quid by one of the behemoths. Such is life. The kids want to go, bewitched by fantasies of Beckham-like glamour. Who can blame them...

Overrun in midfield today. We know Thomas misplaces passes more often than the PM tells us what job his Dad did, but a whole raft of players were careless today. The difference between the teams was two outstanding vollies.

Match Thread Coventry City - Blackburn Rovers Match Thread - Saturday 18th Oct

It's going to be much harder at home, especially now we have a reputation. They will put ten men behind the ball and we have to be able to break them down. If we score early it might result in many goals as they have to open up. But the longer they hold on then it could be any low scoring...

    Andrews and Dasilva

Explains everything. Surprised it wasn't more than 3 with that central defence pairing.

Transfer Rumour Bassette to FC Utrecht

Sounds like the club thought they'd made a coup signing him and were going to be quids in. Didn't work out.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Apologies if it's been mentioned. It strikes me that we also probably got a small sum when Dom Hyam moved to Wrexham. Reports said we had add ons to the £1.5m Blackburn paid and Wrexham allegedly paid £2.7m.

It depends on whether they come to play or to Norwich. I've not seen evidence yet that we know how to breach a ten man defence.

10 so far with one yet to play. To be fair, most of the projections not bad. Castellon favourite to win at this point.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

And if we can stay near the top until then we will have the pick of any player in the world prepared to play for the wage we offer but not of interest to a Premiership team.
