I think there is a bit of false memory syndrome going on here. I went to City away games in the 70s and 80s. I don't remember any aggro against women and children. Abuse to officials and oppo fans and players, of course. The "hard" lads were looking to fight opposing fans not turn on their own...

Beer and pop are meant to be consumed at room temperature [this really is not worthy of the adjective "warm"]. Hate it when I am served either very cold as the drink is both tasteless and painful to drink. ;)
