    Giles

It will be interesting how they balance the team. I can't see Giles playing centrally.

He has been injured and just not featured since returning to the squad, possibly because he isn't completely recovered

I agree with what you are saying. My point was more about the willingness of the players, which isn't always the case.

Kelly getting 90 minutes under his belt Marosi showing improved handling Players willing to stand in despite carrying injuries (Walker and Dabo)

Surely he is there to break up the play and free up Hamer and Sheaf to be more creative. For me Kelly looked fitter than Sheaf despite it being his first full game for an age.

I agree. Thought we should have carried on as before (previous 2 games) and cut out the silly mistakes. Hopefully against the poorer teams we could hold out with more ease.

Kelly created Walker's chin chance and later a ball over the top to him for a potential chance.

Disappointing overall I thought. Not sure starting with a back four was correct. Anyhow at least a clean sheet. Marosi 8 (motm. Didn't have much to do but handling improved and brilliant reaction save onto the bar) Dabo 5 (one nice burst and cross nearer the end but mis-controlled a number of...

    Cup-tied defenders

I noticed both Drysdale and Morgan Williams played for their loan clubs in the FA Cup today. I was surprised they were both allowed.

Marosi 6 (only a 6 for his passing with his feet. Otherwise handling again was dreadful) McCallum 6 (goal saving header first half but kept being caught by the long diagonal) Giles 7 (put some nice crosses in again and defended okay) Rose 6 (after a solid first half he gave 3 passes away in the...

I agree I would have put on Baka and Bapaga for Biamou and Walker for last 15. Both have pace and unpredictability. Biamou and Walker looked spent by the end.

How was Deeney not booked for that blatant foul on Ostigard - ridiculous.

Hamer and Sheaf are improving their understanding of each other and linking up nicely. O'Hare always links well with Giles. Nice to see Walker and Biamou doing so too. The 3 at the back are looking a good unit. I wish one of the was a bit pacier but otherwise 3 decent players.

Thought our passing was much crisper. They are giving Sheaf so much time. He is looking very good again. O'Hare looking busy again. The team need to work on their long range shooting. Good half.

    Taxi for Biamou?

Whenever Cov score I climb up the sofa and scare my dogs ( not intentionally!). If Biamou plays and scores today I may end up through the ceiling! Come on Max!!

    Taxi for Biamou?

Up until last season JCH's goal per game ratio was about 1 goal per 6.5 games. However last season he was prolific. Biamou is about 1 in 7. JCH is younger but has benefited from 10 years of coaching at league standard. Biamou only 3 but due to his ACL injury and recovery much less. So he is...

    Taxi for Biamou?

Yeah. On reflection it is a bit of an odd comparison 🙂. My point was that monetary value isn't always comparable to the player's value to the team
