It would be interesting to know who are the players that we have genuinely tried to sign and have chosen different routes. Collins and James I believe have been acknowledged by the club as failed targets. I assume Walsh would have been approached? Do we know any others?

I agree. I think he is a good back up for O'Hare. When he got up to speed he was busy and has a great first touch. Not strong enough as a defensive midfielder but certainly capable further forward, as a squad player at least.

A quick centre-back, ideally left footed. I would say that would be a priority over another midfielder, with Josh Eccles potentially pushing through. From the pre-season training pictures I haven't spotted Godden, Kelly, Dacosta, Jobello and Kastaneer. The first two will be injury recovery related. I assume the last two are those Robins referred to regarding the need to find other clubs? What about Dacosta? Not sure if I noticed Josh Reid either?

At least the fact we haven't replaced any of the players that have left will be better for social distancing when pre-season begins!

I think there will be many players keeping their options open until 30th June. We may have put in contract offers and need to wait until the end of the month before knowing whether they have been accepted. If not we move to Plan B.

No question he is an athlete and supposedly along with Giles was the fastest player at the club. Maybe we should have tried him at centre-back and moved Hyam up front?!

In the last 5 games of the season Hyam had a goal every 2.5 games ratio. He may be the answer to our goalscoring issues. He has shown he can sniff a goal (Millwall) and strike from distance (Barnsley). I may put a bet on him being top scorer next season 😃

Bremang has looked decent in the snippets I have seen. I was surprised to see Newton let go as I thought he looked like he had quality.
