We've been shit, but the referee is letting them do what they want.

That was a horrible half of football. So poor; EMC looks on it, but whenever we get the ball to him, he's surrounded by three with no support at all. Other than him, it's been dire, tbh. Only thing to say is it's still 0-0.

Awful time for a kick-off on what's a normal working day for many.

    In your own mind, perhaps.

    25/26 January Transfer Window

They'd just been relegated, which would have clouded their judgement. You see it on here (I'm guilty of it, too) after a loss.

    Wit, however....

    The bitterness...

Brighton and Brentford earnt their status; I'm always happy to see well run clubs punch above their weight. Bournemouth is a bit galling, as they're a small club made fat with financial doping. Basically Wrexham of the 2010s, but without the Hollywood angle. That's nothing to do with our...

He's less fit than he was here; you can tell that just by looking at him.

Match Thread Coventry City - Swansea City Match Thread - Friday 26th Dec

Swansea looked like what they are; neat and tidy, good at retaining the ball, but with no real cutting edge. That's why they're having a poor season, not because they're a bunch of clowns falling about to get tonked by whoever's lucky enough to come up against them this week. The performance...

Scores on the doors vs Swansea

I agree, but as a stop-gap, defensive solidity is far more important. He didn't give me the fear yesterday.

    Championship thread 25/26!

Christ, that sentence triggers some fucking awful memories. Is Jonathan Panzo still a footballer by trade, by the way?

No difficult decisions for him, but he did nothing wrong.

Scores on the doors vs Swansea

EMC a level above. They were terrified of him. Grimes and Kitching very good. Not a vintage performance, and not a particularly enjoyable game to watch, but who cares. Swansea looked very good in the first half, but had no cutting edge.

They may want to look at the league table for possible clues to his decision.

Tough watch, but huge win. Half way and 51 points. Amazing.

That was a very tough watch. Until the goal, I was going to say that it was summed up by EMC smacking a goal bound shot straight at Rudoni. Still, ahead. It needs a significant improvement in the second half, though.

Quite an obscure one, but Garry Thompson's brother, Keith. Started with us, didn't do much, went to Spain, came back to us, didn't do much. Managed at least one goal, though, as he has the distinction of being the first substitute I ever saw score for us, v. West Ham. Also, Clarke-Harris.
