Would have been great to have on the bench on Tuesday when we needed to calm things down in the last quarter of the game. Saw the game out without him this time but think that'll when he'll be most useful.

Racist remark towards a coventry player

They just don't have the infrastructure over there, combined with the fact that cricket is the national sport. Football is hugely popular as a spectacle I believe, but there is next to no actual footballing infrastructure to take advantage of it.

Happy for him getting in there but it still really annoys me that they now do these based off the useless WhoScored ratings. If you look at the WhoScored page for our game on Tuesday they have Richard Keogh scoring a 7.0, which to anyone who saw the game is utterly hilarious.

Racist remark towards a coventry player

Most of the Asian kids I went to school with were football mad (I'm talking late 2000s/early 2010s here), in fact our lunch time match used to be Asians vs. everyone else as a quick way of sort the teams (not as dodgy as it sounds). Like others have said I think it must be a cultural thing with...

Racist remark towards a coventry player

Yeah, as SlowerThanPlatt says I was referring to British Asians, and to be more specific south-east Asians. The 2011 census has the South East Asian population in Britain at 6.1%, compared to the Black British population at 3%. Latest figures I can find suggest that 25% of players currently...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Yeah, it worked out in the end but it was a bit of a mental sub from Robins to bring him and Rose on and completely replace the left side of our defence with that little left of the game.

Racist remark towards a coventry player

Yan Dhanda, Hamza Choudary, Neil Taylor and Mal Benning are the only ones that come to mind in the football league, it’s pretty pitiful.

Do we have a Dabo song? Need to get it sung right after the knee on Saturday if so.

Racist remark towards a coventry player

Anyone who was booing the knee was already a knob in my book but anyone who boos it at the Reading game on Saturday after this is a special breed of twat.

    League 1 21/22

Just feels like terrible recruitment strategy to me. They seemed to have just signed a ton of players with no idea of how to fit them all into one team. They've got 8 striker on the books, 5 of whom they signed this summer. I can't see how you can keep all those players happy. I'm sue they'll do...

I wasn't particularly keen on Gyokeres, and still have some reservations about his end product, but last night was one of the best lone striker performances I've seen at the club in years.

    Points performance vs last season

Oh yeah, it was just Fleetwood we failed to win at then I think

    Points performance vs last season

Helped that we only lost 2 away up to that point as well, we were just drawing a lot and winning the majority of our home games. Think the only away game we didn’t win afterwards were Fleetwood and Rotherham.

    Points performance vs last season

First away win last season was Wycombe at the start of December, although I think it also took us ages to win away in League One as well, might have been the Wycombe game in December as well.

    Points performance vs last season

Seen people do stuff like this before so will try and keep this updated throughout the season. Swapped Norwich with Fulham, Watford with West Brom, Brentford with Sheffield United, Wycombe with Hull, Rotherham with Peterborough and Sheffield Wednesday with Blackpool. Doesn’t quite match up...

    Player Ratings

Moore 8 - Multiple brilliant saves, quick off his line and command his box. All concerns going into the season now illeviated. Dabo 7 - Good assist for the goal, got forward well and did his job defensively for the most part. Blackpool seemed to avoid attacking down his wing. Hyam 7 - Dodgy...

Great win, and a mostly fantastic performance, even if we did loe control a bit for the last half an hour. That first haf was one of the best I've seen in years, how we didn't score more I'll never know.
