    Idiots with the whistles

People don't tend to sound like a referee's whistle when they do it though.

    Nathan Clarke

I was concerned he might not be match fit but I thought he had a good game, one thing that stood out was his composure under pressure at times. Very promising start

    Idiots with the whistles

You've read several people mention it and dismissed them as just looking to deflect from the owners. Funny that

    Idiots with the whistles

Any player or manager mentioning a whistle would be accused of turning on fans, making excuses and what have you.

The people criticising the whistle antics were also there.

I wish Tudgay had just taken it himself instead of playing in Thomas. We're not in the division to get away with neat and cute.

Didn't see Haynes giving away the pen as I was still laughing at the Bolton player who'd been lamped seconds earlier, but the way he responded with that run to make Beavon's goal, to think it's the same player who threw up on the pitch due to nerves on his debut. They grow up so fast x

In this case yes. No 'one of our own' stuff applies here.

    Another protest?

Next game someone should bring a rifle to shoot Burge when he comes for a cross. Cut out the middle man

    Another protest?

When you're a high powered business type, the difference between being on holiday or in the office can just mean you've got your phone switched on. If she's on holiday and going to a cov game mind you she really needs to get out more

I've got a feeling about Kansas. They came close last year and seem to have carried it on. Apparently Brady had just had the best TD/INT ratio season by any quarterback ever, and he's approaching 40. Crazy.

Detroit at home, Dallas away and then home again unless Atlanta win. It's not impossible but with such an injury list I feel booking the Monday off for the conference finals and superbowl was optimistic.

I agree, signing championship players is exciting

Rooting for Washington now to make the later game real juicy. Wilson benched and 49ers have pulled it back to a single possession, they might actually win it now as everyone's being wrapped in cotton wool for the playoffs.

Oh shit, if Washington win they're through and the Packers/Lions game is proper knockout isn't it? Drama back on!

Atlanta winning handsomely has pretty much eliminated any drama for me, it's going to be the loser of Green Bay vs Detroit at home in the playoffs. Green Bay are favourites and the team to avoid, so Detroit will probably end up winning now.
